I played both of these as well and chose the Cremona. It seems to have a bit of "twang" and a little more "snap" but also that smooth "Wes like" tone. Both are beautiful and sound amazing.

That's correct, the Monarch is the sunburst, and the Cremona is kind of a ruby burst.
