what that small place !! it's so fucken great !! no iimporta cuántas personas los veen, che, lo que importa es que toquen !! aguante los ramones the best band in the whole fucken world ever !!!
i was at this show and it fu*king rocked. i had to buy a wrist band from some homeless guy just to be able get to pay then get in. it was sold out and they played tons of songs...long live the RAMONES!
their south american shows were some of their biggest they ever played. They played the River Plate Stadium on march 15th of 1996 which was their biggest show ever
coney island high. thats fucking cool. saw the ramones at my brothers college at Pratt institute in Brooklyn with richie and Dee Dee. They would fucking play anywhere. stone pony, a school gym, spring valley. didnt matter. saw them many many times growing up in NY. LONG LIVE JOHNNY JOEY AND DEE DEE> YOU ARE MISSED> I DONT WANT TO GROW UP EITHER MAN>
Look, I followed The Ramones from '76 to 1980. After that I came across 'em a few times, I bought the Sheena Is A Punk Rocker in '77, I lost tracks of 'em. Who's in this besides Joey? That's not Johnny. Is CJ a Dee-Dee substitute? Can somebody let me know, please? He's like his double, at least the way DeeDee looked in his last days.
Thanx man. I realized that it was Johnny upon closer inspection; he just had his hair longer than usual & I hadn't recognized him at first. I knew about Marky too. I wasn't sure about CJ. Well, now I know. Thanks again & HEY HO, LET'S GO!
other bands were noisy, really annoying, when I saw them at Coney Island High in 1997 until Joey Ramone entered the stage and took control( together with a real good cover-band, though). It was incredible. The difference. From an other planet.
He used to live not far away from Coney Island High and performed there because he was an incredibly nice guy without any attitudes.
it's not so shitty when they start playing and everyone is jumping around and singing along every word. I would kill to be on stage and experience that

in 1996 the drummer was Marky, Johnny played guitar 'till the end and CJ was in fact the new bassist since 1989, when Dee Dee left the band ;)
