The Muni subway is tightly scheduled and run by computer. If one car runs late, it will ripple through the whole system. Maybe the caltrain was 2 minutes late ;)
Don't you all think that the operator supposed to keep the schedule, or other way he will back up the streetcar traffic because you people don't know how to move fast! Waiting for all of those people - he would miss at least 2 traffic signals...SHOULD I SAY ANYTHING ELSE?
Sometimes, a muni bus will go past your stop despite pulling on the cord signaling the bus driver to stop at the next stop. And in other circumstances, the pull cord will not work and no alert signals will sound. The other issue concerning bus safety is that doors will close even if one is halfway out. This happened to me twice. I wonder if Muni is working on this safety issue as I speak of it.
