If his views were related to mythology then they would not have been true even after 2000 years.they were based on philosophy of sanatan dharma, a philosophy based on rational, logic and truth and that is why they are as convincing today as they were then. This series has been truely amazing in itself. Unlike Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan, or BR Chopra's Mahabharat; this one does not using "magic" to convey message. A simple way of conveying message!
