  • How do you get the bar to go to library?? Mine just stays on Live Devices with no other option..

  • How do you play the drum before dragging it in? If i double click, it creates a black impulse or whatever and then i play it normally, how did you play it while you still had your blank impulse?

  • @doop445 Im Having that problem as well. Would be greatful for the help, thanks!

  • @doop445 Theres a little circular grey button when you open up a samples pack at the top, click it once, so it turns blue, now when you click on a new sound once, it will play one repeat of it.

  • THat really helps with setting up drums :)

  • how do you drag parts of the drum into an empty impulse? I can olny use the presets they have, not my own custom kit.

  • @sjlarcadia click on the little hot swap button in the lower right corner of the midi slots. A list of specific files will open up in the devices search tab.

  • how the hell do you make a drum track in arrangement view!!!??? I dont want to play a live set i need to make a song.

  • @WarMachine425

This is what im trying to work out!!!!!!!!!

  • @WarMachine425 how about presssing record and look in the av then ;)

  • @WarMachine425 Press tab, you already knew that though, then open up (double click) either a drum rack or type in 'impulse' at the search bar (its a kind of drum rack)and double click that. Now you have a new impulse or whatever in your arrangement. Now select like 4 or 8 bars of it with your mouse, right click and select insert MIDI. Now double click this and you'll have your drums lined up, then just write them in.

  • where can i get some drunk kicks like the one you're using

  • @flyt600rr at a bar i guess

  • i've been using FLS9 for a long while thought i'd give AL8 a go but im not sure how to add my beat made in the step seqencer, and then add it to a playlist(which is what it's called in FL) and it's been driving me nuts....can anyone help...

  • the open hat should've landed on the offbeat if you want the P-sup effect as you call it.

Appreciate the video, trying to get a foundational understanding of the program before mine arrives.

  • thanks. because of this tutorials simplicity, i understood it over the more complicated and thorough ones. you mentioned using a midi controller, i recently bought the launchpad, i was wondering how to use it to tap in my drum beats ?

  • thanks a lot !

    very easy to understand

  • Good stuff, really helpful.
