I had some problems with the swivel clasp, I could not open it! I dont know if that is what your problem is but i found out that some are really hard to open. I had to ask some one to help me, but you squeeze it in like you are opening a safety pin right at the bottom of the curved clip. One side of it moves inwards so you can lift the little hook past the bar to open it. any preoblems please get back to me
