Hi Eric, my friend just bought a powered and dummy engines the exact same as that! The powered has 2 power pickups vs 4, and 8 wheel drive VS 12, but it looks like they get plenty of electrical contact and traction. Great video!
Thats nice , the SD 90 would be supposed to carry the 20 cil 6000 HP engine but that was not yet available because if ???? remember the SD 45 so many were "stuck " with the V16 wit 43-4400 HP but these are the 6000 hp units

Does the smoke system come stadered of did you install that your self? What brand of fluid do you use? Im new to the hobbie the only trains i have are my dads post war and im looking at the heritage as my first modern loco
The engine comes with a smoke unit installed and comes with a little starter bottle of MTH smoke fliud. The engine comes ready to run. All you do is put it on the track and it's ready to go.
