@Charbok12 Today i dont think that matters because of all the direct cam link pedals(pearls demon drive), so i'd say it's preference in relation with sound because each pedal is on it's own drum and it's not interupting the sound as it would on a single drum...

Almost feels the same. I mean there might be subtle differences, but feels almost like double bass. You can do everything with a double pedal just like 2 single pedals. The problem with a double pedal is that you can't tune one bass drum from another like double bass. It's basically made for people who have little room to put another bass drum. That's the reason I use one.

Hey, I'm pretty bad at double pedal and I'm training really hard to get my feet up to speed. I was up at 160-170 but then I got a new e-kit and I plummeted down to 140-150. So I was thinking of more ways to practice and I came to think of that I like to watch tv an hour a day or so. So, if I were to sit down in a comfy chair, put a met on 120 and just work the left foot in constant eights, would that help me in any way or is it just a wasted effort?

That would help a lot with consistency and accuracy. NEVER sacrifice accuracy for speed. I'd rather play perfect that play fast.

Fala cara! É o seguinte, o som se deve a um conjunto de fatores... alguns deles: pele grossa, pad na pele, abafamento interno (usei uma coberta com boa parte encostando na pele batedeira), afinação um pouco alta (as duas peles do bumbo estão um pouco esticadas), batedor de plástico no pedal...

Bom, sem contar que o microfone que eu usei é ruim, ajudando a abafar um pouco o som.

you should practice more on youre speed with the double pedal, like play really fast for long periods of time, cause you play fast for short times. i say the best exercise for fast double pedal is to do 32 on the double pedal and 8 On the Snare drum with a meteronome.

O Mapex eu nunca testei, mas o modelo de base fixa é concorrente direto com o RMV.
