I thought it was Russia who gave her 12 points,

'cause that was the only country without televoting that year.

Russia had prof. musicians to give away the points...makes her 13th place even sadder.

@AndrewUK1987 No she was not. She was in the British NF with a different song called "Wait for the moment". She dropped out as soon as it became clare she stood a good chance of winning in the Netherlands with "One More Night".

She withdrew from that contest as participating for two countries would not have been acceptable for both BBC and NOS. She opted for participating in the Nationaal Songfestival, the Dutch heat of the Eurovision Song Contest, and won. Her entry, One More Night was placed 13th in Riga.

Misschien verdiende België het, maar ik vond hun liedje niet bijzonder. Maar het gezeur over die kleren van Esther blijf ik onzinnig vinden. Vergeleken met andere nederlandse inzendingen was het liedje gewoon OK en het optreden goed.

Finally a clip in great quality to fit this wonderful song. But the commentator was right, whomever dressed Esther ought to be banned from the world of wardrobe styling.
