I used to run chains in the early 90's. They do help in some conditions, but generally aren't worth the hassle.

Those look like nice chains. We used to put multiple sets together to get enough crosslinks.

Ya, thats what I run. Most of the time I am about 2 psi on 38.5 gumbos.

Usually run about 3 psi down to 1 psi if needed. This is just crappy snow.

We're in Washington state. We go snow wheelin in the cascade mountains, generally from Seattle north to Canada.
