@moham7ad yes, he had to do that -because of the purpose of the concert, it's for AIDS vistims in Africa, mostly children, so he's trying to make a different point this time. It's not because he's Muslim now. It's a "combination of something old and something new" -as he says in the beginning of the song.

I saw Cat Stevens/Yusuf t the Albert Hall in 2009 - not only is he a brilliant musician (still), but he came across as a very genuine man. He has struggled with his genius I believe, but hopefully realises now how much joy he brings and how much good he has done.

I hate to see how so many people criticise him for "turning" Muslim. How many of us can sincerely say we chose the path we are walking, we made a change n our life -trying to be a better human being? It doesn't matter what path it is, what matetrs is that it takes a lot of courage, devotion and big heart. Whatever he does -he always tries to be conscious about it, and make his statements very clear, take a stand. Religion doesn't matter but what we do with our life does.
