Actually, "Ol Waylon" was released in 1977. I know because my mom bought her original LP copy when she was in college that year, and I listened, and listened, and listened to it in my youth.

Thanks for posting this song it has always been one of my favorite Waylon songs but all of Waylons songs are my favorite songs. I listen to this song and all i hear is Ralph Mooney's steel guitar running in my head the rest of the day. Great pictures.There is another song on Ol' Waylon i wish you would do by request.
