The conductor Li is excellent, he made the Viennise Orchestra play the accompanying music, through the arrangement, sound like genuine Chinese music made by Chinese players. He is much better thab the other conductor at the Kennedy Centre performance.
I miss my mom back home in China and I cried when listening to her singing this song...

I myself prefer a simpler arrangement with perhaps just an Erhu accomplishing her sweet voice. But this is, nonetheless, an enjoyable rendition.
