N900 Android FroYo Install to eMMC speed comparison.

It really handles it well considering it is not supposed to run android. It's a shame Nokia axed it so quick.

i have now just a few questions... how i enable voice calling and how can i manage my IP-settings, because my Modem needs IP so that i can connect on it.(it doesn't get IP automatically)

@Amedo353 its kinda hard to explain... :D. but i only needed my n900 with some storage left.. wiki(.)maemo(.)org/Nitdroid_ea­sy_install_on_EMMC#Installing_­NITDroid i used this to install it.

@Amedo353 no you'll get dualboot for Maemo and Android when you open the keyboard on boot. otherwise it will open in maemo as normal

@KingZetsuei Everthing is working on the HD2 Froyo 2.2.1 build. NITDroid for the N900 isn't fully functional. The calling and SMS still don't work as you can't hear anyone on the call though you can make and receive them and sms is hit and miss. Also, the camera app doesn't work and a few other bugs. There should be an NITDroid 0.9 released in the near future that may address some of those shortcomings.

@playmaker747 I first bought a version of Need for Speed Shift from one of the mobile markets to take care of any legality issues (Pay the devs for their hard work) and then I did a google search for the apk and chose one that is for devices with an OMAP processor, for example, the Droid X, since the N900 has an OMAP GPU.
