@peaceudo It's just my opinion that that there are varying types of curls, but at the end of the day, they are all curls. I think that a"coily" hair is just another description for a type of curl. Same with a boticelli ringlet, or a zig zag, or a shirley temple. The all look different but they are all curls. Just my opinion.

Well I have long, thick, curly hair and if I only washed it once a week I'd look like a witch so I think she can keep her tips for herself because her hair really is a complete mess.
Her hair is definitely curly...she just doesn't know how to manage it. SHE needs to watch the amateur videos on here, and see the non-models with their natural hair lookin much better than what she put up here. IJS!

She should have used a bit of gel to define her curls better but, this is the best curly hair video I've seen that had to do with a company and wasn't a home video type thing. I used to straighten my hair and it eventually lost its curl because of too much heat. I haven't straighten in eight months and my curly hair grew back finally. Heat and bleaching are just as damaging as relaxers in my opinion. Your can still fall out and you can damage your follicles beyond repair. I'm done!

@EgyptianPharao you are reidcuoius. Her skin is what people consider black. She is not light skinned either. She is a deep bronze so at most she is biracial. Brown people are hispanics, middle easterners, and people from western Asia and north east africa. Even though someone from India may have darker skin than someone from Africa, the convention is that the indian is brown and the african is black. It seems you are having a problem with self identification.

You will find some tribes especially in south west asia who are darker than 90% of the people considered black. Any person of african descent who describes their hair as nappy or kinky has no self respect. its the same as calling yourself a nigga. By purest linguistic definition Nappy hair is unmanaged rats nest like hair and kinky implies knots. ANYONE can have nappy/kinky hair if they don't care 4 it. Back hair isnt naturally nappy. Blk hair comes Curly, wavy, coily, and even straight. Common denominator is usually SUPER thick and usually lacking moisture which is easily solved by proper care.

@sameshitdifday Apparently you can't let go. I was talking about repeated use. As is using flat iron as often as relaxers. I used to straighten my hair and it eventually lost its curl because of too much heat. I haven't straighten in eight months and my curly hair grew back finally. Heat and bleaching are just as damaging as relaxers in my opinion. Your can still fall out and you can damage your follicles beyond repair. I'm done!

Especially those who want thicker hair or suffer from the damage of over processing. You are ignorant because all blacks do not have the same texture. Most African Americans are of West African decent so there is not much variation here, but upon the African continent variation is widespread.
