Golf is so fun. Its only boring if your a Noob and keep topping the ball all the time. I really want to drive one of those huge bulldozers and crush garbage and a bunch of dumb seagulls. That would be almost as fun as 18 holes of golf.

The bad thing about working at a landfill, besides needing to blow out the radiator every few hours, is the stench gets into everything.

You will devote clothes to this job, take a shower before you leave, having work clothes in a bag that sits in in the bed of your truck, and the cab will still stink!

I shower with dishwashing liquid when I do this kind of work!

Recycling isn't practical . Face it Society is cancer to the earth. Natural cycle of earth is war upon itself. Just look at the last ice ages. Besides that the reason for global warming is not caused by this.

Today, we can recycle everything. So why are we taking trash to landfill when we can turn it into carbon plastic and even fuel??

How can there be no money in it? It's the Government paying you to build and manage a facility for them!!! Its not no money in it, its "not much money in it" for them to consider dealing with. Money doesn't make the world go round, Gravitational Laws makes the world go round.

@phantom4x4 im a manger at a landfill worked my way up from picking up paper on the lot and on the surrounding roads 22 years in the landfill i can pretty much tell you anything you need or want to know.Worked in them before the Subtitle D came into effect. I say AGAIN when it is profitable recycling will happen. Do you have any idea how many bales of cardboard we get in to the landfill because the people that recycle cant sell it?comes straight from the recycling plant.I could go on and on.

I work at my city's landfill and using a D-8 sucks .You got to be extra carefull with the customer pull offs especially the idiots that jump in front of the blade the dam d-8's dont' have steering wheels and you don't feel what you hit.Give me a compactor any day.

Thanks for this video. My son (2.5) loves garbage trucks and this helped me show him where the garbage truck takes the trash (he calls it the dump). Had no idea about the eagles. I guess tey hunt rodents that feed on the trash?

Great Video. It's one think that doen't change from state to state. It looks just like a landfill up here in Pa. Didn't look to busy though. Very seldom we see just one truck dumping up here. There is normally a line of trucks.
