The Matthew 24:29-30 refer to the second coming of Christ, not the rapture of the church. In I Thess chap. 4, Paul does not mention about the sun darkening, stars falling from the sky or the earth shaken. Also in I Thess 4, believers are gathered in the air and taken to heaven. While in Matt 24, they are gathered after Christ's arrival to earth.

The Matthew 24:29-30 refer to the second coming of Christ, not the rapture of the church. In I Thess chap. 4, Paul does not mention about the sun darkening, stars falling from the sky or the earth shaken. Also in I Thess 4, believers are gathered in the air and taken to heaven. While in Matt 24, they are gathered after Christ's arrival to earth.

The rapture of the church will happen before the tribulation. When the last believer commits himself or herself to Christ, the church will be gone. Jesus said He will come at an unknown hour. If the rapture takes place after, then people will know and not repent until that time. Also, after Revelation chapter 4, the church is no longer mentioned.

Jack Van Impe calls Amillennialism the singe greatest heresy in the history of the Christian church. The greatest compared to arianism, and modelism (google these words if you don't know what they mean). Sir, I think that you need to take a good hard look at his teachings before you call this man an "awesome man of God." Even with my own favorite preachers I don't go around making these claims. I have to know someone close and personally before saying something like that.
