@rylandawe I don't think they ever stated the show was specficially set in 2000, just that was set sometime in the 21st century. Which still could mean 2099 for all we know. It's like comparing 1900 with 1999, a world of difference.

This is the 1985 version of Jetson's right? Because in the 1962 version you hear a jazz trumpet in the Judy segement instead of a trombone.
