I think the song makes the movie look better than it actually was. The song is exciting and youthful while the movie was a little boring and pretentious. It's an "atmospheric movie" and "What You Waiting For?" is a mainstream pop song, but the eclectic mix works well, for me. The line "Born to blossom, born to perish" ties in with the movie, maybe a little too obviously

I hate it when people say a trailer has "ruined" a movie -how has it ? it hasn't changed the plot . Somebody enjoyed a movie , made a trailer for it and people act like it was intended to offend . Good job , I like the fact you haven't gone the usual route with "sad movie so lets give it a sad song" , but the song still has a creepiness to it thats needed , very original and I can tell you've put a lot of time into it too :).

The reason why they committed suicide is cause they had stress and trouble with guys. Their parents quarantined them in a house so they just got depressed and killed themselves. You should watch it again. Its a great movie

For those wondering, the movie is about five sisters who live in a very strict household and are not allowed to go out anywhere. The youngest Cecilia commits suicide and the story goes from there. Lux (played by Kirsten Dunst) is the second youngest, though becomes the youngest after Cecilia dies, and she is the flirtatious one that is with Trip (Josh Hartnett).
