...i'm somewhat a Coverdale fan, and well, unless there's some newly uncovered vault of material, i can't fathom that we'll ever hear him attempting anything approaching this. Have seen Mark live twice, and the guy is capable of hitting highs that 'll make your head explode. Just my opinion....
...tweeking sound issues. Maybe mark dumped this from his repertoire, maybe not. But i think Mark is adventureous, bold in his choice of material, and i have every confidence he could perform this perfectly at some point if he really wanted to. It isn't horrible though--far from it, and he he appears to be having fun in trying. Mark is definitely a world--class singer. Having seen Jorn Lande perform live, he may have pipes, but wasn't much in the way of expression. Mark has that in spades...
to the average listener of music, this can be considered very fantastic, and there's nothing wrong with that. This isn't, oh, Mick Jagger trying, forcing something totally and utterly out of his realm of capability. On the one hand, for demanding pieces it can be a matter of where it is in the set, that may need to be adjusted. Conditions like rest, humidity can play also. Is this a 1st attempt? Learning to approach a particular piece can seem can seem cumbersome in light of that and possibly...
I guess it's pointless in discussion best songer, drummer etc... But I can't help noticing that Mark actually misses quite a few notes and to even compare him with singers as Russel Allen, Jorn Lande or even David Coverdale is a bit too much. He isn't that good... I guess anyone who thinks so is doing that because he/she likes the music.. which isn't bad at all :)
Now the sun has washed away the songs Now the clowns have lost their smiles Empty space the open stage's become Such short a while Has changed my world My dreams have just been sold Now the rain Has washed away the crowds Now the fireworks won't burn Dead the band that should have played so loud It was my turn To live this show Where did my day just go I will not let you see me cry I'm too proud to let go my dreams And this way Fairy Tales Won't Die And the witch soon will dry my tears.
Wow what a find for RH. It is funny that this band has the keys player of Artension John wests old band. It is funny how these guys move in the same circles and play in the same bands. GL in Hunt.
This just dawned on me. I think this guy could've been sensational as the lead singer of Journey. As a huge fan of Steve Perry, I can really appreciate this man's phenomenal ability to sing in high notes with passion and emotions. Here's a very special singer who happens to be highly underrated.
Hey, don't get me wrong. I'm a fan of Malmsteen, too. He's a phenomenon itself. But I think the addition of Boals would be very interesting for both Journey and for Boals. They could have collaborated on some really intriguing stuff together without damaging their musical reputation. And yes, Boals could get much richer, too.
haha. picturing him with Journey is funny :P but yea hed be great with any band he sings for. Mark Boals is one of my newest favorite power metal singers. (singer in general) Before I sort of overlooked him. My fault!
Funny? Why? Because Journey's not a metal band? But you know what? I don't think Mark Boals would laugh off on the idea of being the successor to Steve Perry, who is critically acclaimed to be one of the very best rock vocalists of all time. Most folks remember him as a crooner who sang some power ballads only, but that's far from the truth. He's covered a wide range of rock throughout his career with a rich r&b and soul influence, which makes him highly unique.
This song is from Maestro Alex Gregory's "Paganini Last Stand". The original version is quite different from this, though I love this more. Just voice and piano are a great combination for this song

@loldacz It's Vitalij Kuprij. He's a classically trained, award-winning Ukraine-American musician. He has his own prog-metal band "Artension".

This song sounds so much better like this than it did when jerk off Maestro Alex Greggory was playing his lame and sloppy guitar riffs on it.
