  • Chi sei?

:). Ma va be.

Lei mi ha risposto su un'altra video : strano.

    Buona serata.

  • @InfernoDaBaka dico amico perché ti sento amico.

Non sono italiano e quando dico amico vuol dire amico.

Non ho nemici. Non, se mi ricordo bene avevo risposto su questo video!...

Sono un vecchio tutto è possibile!

    Buona serata anche à te!

  • Talk about delivering the Goods!!!!!! Really Great!!!!!!!!

  • Incredible. I'm speechless...

  • Funny how everyone goes to fkng heavens...I suppose that wat the Bible has to say about the requirements are irrelevant...well, if that's the case, even hitler is in heavens...isn't that a daysi?

  • @abialex Are you stupid?

  • I learn from you ,my great teacher ...

  • Heavenly - Godly - our vocabulary just doesn't have the words! Rest in peace, Maestro di tutti i Maestri - you're now singing for Him and the angels!

  • I have always said he was a sexy sexy man... I never saw these early vids when he was slim. Dang!

  • That hight C is just stunning.....

  • breathtakingly beautiful. Thank you.

  • Wow, what a rare gift! The beginning of a legend!

  • Actually, he is a fantastic looking man. Too bad he kept a beard soon after, he has a fantastic face.

  • @Shamsithaca He was way slimmer back then. After putting on so much weight, he would not have looked so good with a double chin.

  • Just perfect!!!

  • Oh my god. What a joy to watch, absolutely off the scale for how good this is. The C rings out with a brilliance of that could cut through iron and is followed by Pianissimo that could melt the coldest of hearts.

What an artist, what a voice, what a man.

    Thank you for posting.

  • 29 years old. Fantastic!!!

  • Happy birthday Maestro... today it would have been #76.

  • I would, humbly, compare this to any Caruso recording! I find myself with feelings of jealousy, that now, only God hears this magnificent voice live!

Praise Him for "sharing" Pava and his blessing with us for as long as He did.

  • @appeace1 agreed, Pavarotti just blows away Caruso. Though a poor recording here, it is just full of life and nobody to this day can rival it.

  • @oldtwins Yes, I agree, tho poor recording or not--it doesn't silence that, full, open-throat, resonating, ringing voice! Pava said once in an interview when asked, if other singers had the same technical training as he and had good voice, what made his voice so different that it touched people where others did not--what enabled him to open his mouth and have that sound come out. He replied, that if all other things were equal,

  • @appeace1 then he thought that perhaps God must have made his throat just abit different than others! I believe that Pava didn't know that perhaps God had actually loaned abit of His own voice to Pava to use for a time to bring beauty and to be used for God's glory; as in, raising money for God's poor children and to sing the sacred songs for praising of God and so that people who might not ever listen to those songs--would. Then God called the voice home w/ the vessel who was Pava.

  • @oldtwins I know that Pava would not ever admit nor agree w/anyone who would say that he was better than the great Caruso, but in my humble opinion, still accounting for poor recording quality in Caruso's day, Pava had the better voice! Full, ringing, open throat, resonating, perfect pitch, natural tenor, with a natural command of the Italian language, therefore, perfect diction. A tenor voice situated perfectly in the tenor range with the diamond top and the full bottom--my preference

  • @appeace1

This is a wonderful perrormanc but it does not habe have the

eveness of Jussi - cf to 1938 performance on YT. Pav IMO is not in Caruso's

    league.

    Regards-John

  • @65attila To each his own opinion! That is what makes opera great, each fan can have their own preference as to who's voice thrills them! I have heard remastered Caruso, and while what he did for opera makes him, by Pava's own definition, the building stone upon who all the rest of the stories are built, I simply prefer and believe that Pava's voice is much sweeter, resonating, bell quality, supported thru out his range, perfection in legato line, is more thrilling----my preference.

  • Wow, thank you for sharing this gem. It's such a privilege to hear Pavarotti sing for us from home, the 2010s are really great for this!

  • THIS IS PURE GOLD! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING

  • It is wonderful to see Pavorotti in the full flower of youth and health singing as only he could sing! I always thought that he sang this aria particularly well, his rendition of Che Gelida is amongst the best. He was fantastic in Boheme, Trovatore,Un Ballo, he was outstsanding, in Daughter of the Regiment and as Nemorino in Elixir of Love .Who cares if he did not sing many roles in many languages.Pavorotti was an incredible singer, His voice was awesome!

  • On 4:21 i thought that my windows and glases going to explode :)))

  • :| in 1964, American made war in Vietnam. If he had been in Vietnam and sung the war would have stopped sooner...

  • Thank you!!

  • FUCK, THE BEST VOICE EVER.

  • wow.. the high C is sooooooooooooooooo ringing~! !!

  • How could anyone dislike this??

  • WOW!

  • FANTASTIC!

  • My goodness! What a find! Thank you!!

  • Maravilhoso!!!!!! Muitíssimo obrigada!!!!

  • This is the best rendition of "Che gelida manina" I've ever seen in Pavarotti's voice, and one of the most beautiful of all. This is my humble opinion, of course.

    Bravo Pavarotti!!!

  • Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

Are there more parts from this concert?

  • @Judasist Yes there are: I uploaded videos of Margherita Guglielmi, Gabriella Tucci and Nicola Zaccaria.
