@epicretrogamer I've ridden the Volume Tricksters for a long time and they held up really well. If you get the V2 Trickster bars, they're great. A lot of people bend and break Gussests really easy apparently. The Deceptkon stem is alright, I still use it but I already broke one of the bolts. I would get a better one if you could.

@fargon123 they are simplistic. there are cheap fixed gear bikes, but bikes like these which can be from $800+. My friend had a build that was around $3000. It all depends on what things you get to build it. and they're expensive because they're strong parts so they don't break when you trick. There are tricking fixed gears, fast fixed gears, and people use some to just commute.

Fixie riders claim that the simplicity of the bike will lead to a cheaper cost of maintenance, but I have never had to do anything to my bike except re-lubricate moving parts along with brake pads. As far as I can tell, fixies would cost more to maintain due to the cost of tires being so high. Any input on this? I'm just curious, just discovered these types of bikes.

@fargon123 people who ride normal fixed gears barely have to pay anything to maintain the bike. People who trick on them have to pay a lot because they wear the tires out really fast. People who ride fast have to pay for tires because they skid a lot.  Other than that, tires aren't really expensive and they last a really long time. It depends what you do on the bike.

@2luviz2h8 nice build but if your gonna trick on your thrasher, i wouldn't recommend tricking on aerospoke and trispoke. i've got a pair of hplusson eero's 36h reds and they are amazing! there super strong .33333mm deeper then b43's and they can fit fat tires. with b43 your gonna get fat rolloffs with fat tires.(you probably already knew that) but yeah eeros ftw. shipping was like 2 days too.
