The thing is, this ending isn't happy. Ashera warned everybody that if there was any more conflict, she would do this. The people disobeyed her again and again then tried to cheat her into waking in a different way. The thing I'm wondering is, who are really the good guys in this game? Ashera for trying to give the world balance? Or maybe Ike and Micaiah for stopping the impending destruction of the world... Which they were warned about for hundreds of years...

I'm overthinking this xD

@MetalMarill Well Ashera's idea of balance was wiping out life itself. If life doesn't exist, it can't transgress. Ashera looks at things strictly from a logical point of view, while Yune looks at things strictly from an emotional point of view, i.e. killing and statue-ing is wrong. Both are necessary for the people of Tellius to survive and to be able to live with each other. Yune would be willing to forgive forever, Ashera not so much. But Ike and everyone else need to learn from both. I think

When I fought Ashera with Ike, she was at 3/4's HP (For retards that is 90) Ike got an Aether, putting her down to about 20 HP, then did that fancy attack, and killed her.

You know... looking back in retrospect, I just realised that Ike's claim "we have no need for gods" makes *no sense*, because it was precisely because the deity was separated and sealed that Ashnard became interested in the Medallion and basically kickstarted the entire Tellius plot, thereby killing *thousands*.

This can mean only one thing: Ike *wants* wars to keep happening! That's why he left Tellius! To murderalise every other land!

It's similar to Advance Wars or Final Fantasy Tactics. Did you see how you could select each character to attack, how they were positioned as on a grid? Something like that.

Yes. Player goes first, all characters. Then all the army for Enemy Phase. The game zooms in for the units fighting, so that's why you only see Ike and the Evil woman fight.

He CAN miss, even if he can finish Ashera. I was trying to show a friend the ending from a battle save and he did it X(.

He just swings and misses as usual, no cutscene with Micaiah before the combat.

My friend and i beat this game the 3rd day we had it. It was a great addition to the fire emblem series. Great job making it through and posting it all. Its amazing what fire emblem has turned into. The gameboy versions to this masterpiece. You should put a PoR runthrough so some non fire emblem people know what your talking about
