How supremely ironic! Centuries ago, when Europe was supposedly Christian , Africa used to be called "The Dark Continent", & now, how the wheel has turned! The Africans are the Christians spreading God's Word & Light, whereas Europe & its civilisation has increasingly turned from God since the so-called "Enlightenment", & is fast becoming "The Dark Continent".
This reminds me of the last days of the Roman Empire. In the end, the effete decadent Romans were obliged to turn to the leaders of those they once despised & conquered as barbarians in order to run their empire. Such is how it in the West, the most honorable in the West must turn to the former colonised poeple to save them from the looming fall into anarchic corruption.
