@badlegend1 you obviously don't know much about carp fishing.... safety mats are a must at probably all venues in the U.K. Here in the U.S. people don't have much respect for carp.... maybe the fact that they just can't catch them... lol... i've been carp fishing here in the U.S. for quite a while... i've completely adopted the Euro-style and i don't plan on fishing for bass or catfish anytime soon... Once you hook a monster carp you won't look back...

taking a bit tooo long to return the fish and as rico5101 said never wipe them ! it was out of the water for 3 mins 4 seconds and bit silly to have carried it back to lake one flap and he would have been dropped on floor !
