Good collection of adverts from twenty years ago this Christmas including Youngs and the Sherry ones. The 'Magic Moments' one in the Quality Street commercial has recently been revived just like the Toys 'R' Us ads.

Sounds like a pre-famous Joe Pasquarle doing the voices in the Pound Puppies advert. Didn't know he was famous back then - I thought that he didn't arrive until about 1992.

Come to think of it, it is David Jason, but his voice on the advert sounds slightly squeeky in a Joe Pasquale sort of way.

Wow they were pushing "greener" laundry detergent way back in 1989? I wonder why the dry detergent laundry ball never (as far as I know) made it to the States?

How many compilations there are until we start with the 1990 ads?
For me, it'll be sad to see the 80s uploads end, but, at the same time, it'll be good to see the 90s uploads start.
I think you stopped recording ads at just the right time, when UK TV Ads were en route to becoming too self-pretentious (as they mostly are these days).

Wogan turns on the charm for Lentheric.
The Young's advert dates from 1987. That butter advert was a bit poor taste I thought.
