And what if Ahiru died? What if she dissapeared into a golden light, never got to realize her feelings for Fakir, never get to dance that pas de deux by herself without the power. Mytho would never have gotten his heart back and he and Rue would live together forever and Fakir would be miserable forever.

Actually, she does, twice at least. In episode 13, it's the dieing wish of the puppet who lit herself on fire to rescue them and save Fakir. Okay, technically he dances with Princess Tutu, but he does dance with Ahiru in episode 5 while he waits for Rue.
