If it was "no big deal" or "just a mistake" why did it have to be repeated? Which bible did he use the second time when it was not filmed? I hate to be skeptical, but this is the first President that had to have his swearing in repeated. If he can't get that right, how the heck is he going to bring about all this change he promised?

The judge fuc'ed up. He rushed his lines and also mixed up the second lines. He said that I will execute the office of president to the United States faithfully when he was supposed to say I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States. Even when Obama gave him a chance to say it right the Judge still fuc up. At 0:41 it sounds like the Judge said that I will faithfully suppress office of president of the United States faithfully. Obama still said it right though.

yep, he def rushed it, and.. the judge paused after he said ''I barack obama'' and then interupted him half way through his sentence. Anyway, I think he will be a Good president.

i looked at previous oaths, nixton, carter, clinton, bush, they all do "i faithfully". Only Roberts placed "faithfully" at the end of the sentence. I got that got obama confused. In addition, Roberts said" so help you God" instead of "so help me God".

The chief justice doing the swearing in messed up. In 2005, then Senator Obama voted AGAINST him for his nomination. I believe the chief justice messed up the wording on purpose to make our new President look bad in front of the world. President Obama caught the mistake and stopped until the wording was fixed.

um guys. he doesn't screw up. the judge f'ed up the 2nd line. you can tell this because he tries to fix it the 2nd time around. that's why barack looks confused.

I just heard on CNN that it was the judge that screwed things up because he quoted the oath incorrectly and Barack was trying to correct him. The judge puts "faithfully" in the wrong place.
