Actually, it was written in 1934 by a man named Richard Rodgers. Billie Holiday even sang this song, and she was around WAY before Sinatra. Sinatra was a brilliant singer - but most of the songs he sang were not his original songs - they were covers of older jazz classics.

@iambajwa actually the original song wasn't from Sinatra; it was from a movie called "Manhattan Melodrama", and was interpretend by Shirley Ross :)
