The terrible thing about this video is the music you used for the ending. Because this is the music one would only use for a happy ending. So it just clashes with the fake ending you are portraying here.
"This video post gets a ZERO for accuracy. It's just the studio release version and someone has edited out the last 20 seconds. So now it's not the studio version and it's not Hitchcock's original version either. It's just a misleading false post."
I read this was the ending, and they tested it with an audience who would not accept this as an ending. No one wanted to see Cary Grant as a killer. So Hitchcock re-shot the ending to be the one in the film where they turn the car around and both go home. I remember hearing all of this in a documentary I watched.

This IS NOT the original ending that Hitchcock was ordered to change by the studio. It ends by them going home after this car incident. He gives her milk to drink which he's poisoned. She knows it's poisoned but plays dumb and drinks it anyway, also giving him a sealed letter and asking him nicely to post it for her. The next morning, she's dead. He puts the letter in the mailbox, unaware that it contains her full account of him as her murderer.
@riceking2008 exactly, that's how Hitchcock wanted it to end, we know Johnny will be caught when we see him mailing the letter. This video here isn't all terrible, except for the shot of the two people in the car, which should've been cut.
i luv this movie

Well I LIKED it. Even if it doesn't quite go with the concept, it is a really nice alternate ending. Good job!

Zero for this one. A five year old could come up with something more clever and original than this with a lot less editing.

But Cary Grant is not even a killer in this 'orginal ending'! There are two people in the car as it drives away, you lunatic.

@riceking2008 that ending would have been a lot better.

@riceking2008 Damn that would have been a good ending! The one they used is good, but that would have been much more unexpected.
