I believe Shauna Young saved my life- she was able to detox lyme disease out of me. I was super sick. I am thankful for my life. She is an amazing doctor.
I worked with Shauna and did the protocol at age 24 and it made a world of difference for me. Compared to other diets it wasn't that hard for me to stick to because I was feeling a difference and when I fell off of it I had symptoms. I did overeat some of the foods like honey for a while.
Cures are for diseases, autism isn't a disease, so hence autism neither needs a cure nor is curable. The "cure" that organizations like "Autism speaks" speaks of is more like the cure you see fought over in the X-men series of movies in many different ways, after all we autistics, are mutants who mutated from the prototypical human genome. "Autism speaks" doesn't speak for me.
@rsfff Last I checked I think Spinach was moved to the eat in moderation list. It may be a little higher in manganese than iron. The foods in the eat freely list are balanced in manganese and iron so that your body relearns to absorb them in balance again.
there's more evidence that autism is genetic. please remember that traits change and shift over time. it's easy to attach a single external "cause" to this; in fact, it's all a part of autism.
for a realistic overview of services autistics can actually use: type Temple Grandin into the search box. reasonable solutions from someone on the spectrum. may give ideas for practical services to spend money on. autism also comes with gifts. please appreciate your children for who they are.
