My former girlfriend was also from Akwa Ibom state, and her name was accidentally Ekaette, they did not even have to act ballet, but I hope to see her once again. But much happier.
@ Nsiharry n others.......u guyz should watch "Cant let go" here on Youtube or videoonlinenigeria, that one is actually set in Akwa Ibom upper Lower class, so d scenery is way better than this one which is Lower lower class........
Also u can watch "The Rivals", a very interesting village movie, with a village scenery in Calabar. Though d movie location is unbelievable, d storyline is awesome!....i believe u can watch it here, i'm not sure though!.
yeaa hes in a new one called Uyai its another akwa ibom movie nd in the language too i lke it cus its lke where my family is based :)....ini edo is in it too she speak well
When I saw the trailer of this movie, I knew that it had potential. So today I rented it at Izogn movies for only 2 dollars. I feel like it was worth it. The movie is very good and very inspirational. I dont want to spoil it for you guys, but I will add that it is the only african movie I spent money on, and It is the best I have seen so far.
am so happy that AKWA IBOM people are waking up from sleep to face the future, to erase the impresion people have that Akwa Ibom girls settle 4 housegirl jobs.i therefore implore mothers to encourage their children to go to school. there are no short cut to prosperity. better learn a trade than think of housegirl job.from a bonafide Ak Ibom son
@nsiharry Speak for yourself, because Akwa Ibom and calabar people are the most educated people in Nigeria. They were the first to speak and dress like the white people back in the 1800's. Many Akwa Ibomites &Cross River people received schoolarships to study in Europe and USA before Nig recieved it independent in 1960. My mother & father included.
Primary school education has been free in Akwa Ibom since the creation of the state. HouseGrl was due to their Excellent cooking Skills & Neatness!
I think most movies endings are predictable generally, because people love to see a happy ending and good over come bad - Even Hollywood movies are the same. you just need to have a captivating story line.
I can tell the rest of this movie by 1:08...Desmond will meet d babe..perhaps the mom will take her as maid...or the guy will take her home...Bottom line..Desmond will fall in love and her mom will say NO...im terminating this watch..if im wrong.. someone should mail me via responding to this message...TOO PREDICTABLE.
The low point about our movies is that there are easily predictable. Without even seeing the entire movie, one can easily predict its outcome. Here I can assure you in this storyline, that Ekaite was maltreated in Lagos. Our writers should be more creative. They should keep their viewers in utter suspense; I think this is what makes a movie intriguing and exciting.
and the annoying thing they make a big deal of it i have watched the movie in one scene she sneaked out of the house and got punnished they call that maltreating as if in real u will kill ur help if she sneak out at nite.lol we need more writes.
can u plzz upload the rest of this movie i'ave been dying to watch it

U know this Desmond Elliott has been converted to an Akwa Ibom boy ooooo, he has starred in most of d Akwa Ibom/Cross River movies.
Nyway i like him so thats good, i'm thinking its becos he's married 2 an Akwa Ibom girl!.....thats why they r Over-supporting him.
For real, I know someone that gave him some english lectures in AKS.
