Ford has never "owned" cummins. For awhile back in the early 1990's they owned like 11% of the stock and had a seat on their board. They sold off all of their stock in 1997 and gave up there seat. stock turbo... got 222,000 miles on it... have a built suncoast tranny, Precision industries t/c, billit input.. started out with a banks tuner and screwed up my tranny.

man, i don't get it. i hear all of these god awful things about the 6.0L, i've got one. most trouble i have with it is the turbo sticks from time to time, nothing a hard pull in 4th gear doesn't correct. i pound the crap out of the truck, had it over a year and nearly 30k miles, all i do is oil changes and put deisel in it.
