Glad you caught the lyme before it became a problem. 50% of people never get the rash so they never know at all. I had lyme disease for at least 2 years before I knew I had it. 2 picc lines later with daily IV therapy and I am still suffering from this.
sunflower seeds carrots and spinach will help strengthen your immune system aganist that lyme : ) your in good hands and wow where abouts do you live to be in such beauitful country ? its amazing and so green and lush
Skyaglow, I live in eastern monnesota 2 hours north of St Paul. It's a green paradise in the spring and summer. It's a kalidascope of color in the autumn and a frigidly cold winter wonderland in winter.
Do you know anything about wheatgrass? Its supposed to help with cancer, arthritis, eyesight, and all kinds of things. I'm growing some for myself and I catch my dog eating every once and awhile. Maybe it can help busters condition. It has to be consumed every day to have an effect.
WorkFreeWizard, I've never grown wheat grass so unfortunately I can't tell you anything about it. I've heard that it's extremely good for you, but that's about all I know about it. :)
just to let you know that I have totally enjoyed your videos. I have watched all of your videos tonight in one sitting, I have learned so much and had a great time as well
dutchess1kiss, That's alot of video!! LOL Watching too many of my videos can lead to an overwhelming desire to plant something...........or shoving a spork in one's eye. :)
Thanks for taking the time to tune in Dutchess. I really do appreciate it. *cheesy grin*
Yes, we get these deer ticks in Poland. Our neighbour went mushroom picking and picked up three of them - even though he was wearing protective clothing - and went straight to hospital. Our dog also picks them up from time to time.
Well when the doctor gave me the doxycycline, he tells me to stay out of the sun while on them.................as if I'm gonna stay out of the sun? LOL In the summer I practically LIVE in the sun.
You have deer ticks up in Canada? I didn't know that.
Oh man you made me cry, poor baby! I love my dog so much and dogs in general and they become part of who you are...so sorry he is so close to the end:( poor pooch!
Sorry to hear about the Lyme Disease. I have a family member who has this, so I know how it affects you. Hope you're feeling better, and will remain healthy. I have a 15 year old Dalmatian, who stands in front of me and just wobbles and shakes with tremors. If I want her to move, so I can go forward, I have to guide her with my knees as she hobbles forward. We make quite the comic looking duo, as we shuffle along. She's blind and deaf, and yet a very happy and contented girl, otherwise.
Praxxus, do you notice the strange that's been rolling in and about the region lately.
There are trasient black vultures that have become residents. The Ravens ae flocking upfor protection and the crows are gone.
Lyme diease, let me cure you. Ihave defeted that pathogen. Are you alleric to bees and wasps? A good sting could start you on recovery. What blood type are you? What's your vaciation schedue? A tentanus booster might clear you.
One of the things I love about you is that you're telling us all these horrible things...yet you're still smiling and finding humor in it. :)
Good to hear that you're feeling better...and despite the crooked walk , cancer, and being deaf, your dog looks like he's living a GOOD life and is pretty happy. :)
Nice to see a new vid from you Ray! Sorry to hear about the Lyme Disease. I'm outside a lot in the summer and have 3 cats so I find ticks on myself pretty regular and some of them are attached. Plus I get bitten by mosquitoes quite a bit. *So far* I've not suffered any ill effects. I've never seen a deer tick in person so thankfully I guess there's not any around there. These do carry Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever but I'm not sure if that's as serious as Lyme Disease is. Take care and be well!
I know how you feel. I have fibromyalga when I have a flar up I am tired, sick flu like and I have alot of pain. Lime disease is a pain in the ass. I am glad you are feeling better. Your health is more important then you tube. you make sure you are getting the rest you need. I will be thinking of you.
Thats the one thing I don't like about the country, especially if you're alone. If something ever happens to you an ambulance or doctor is pretty far far away.
I live out in the woods as well and have ticks all over but never got one with lyme disease yet (knock on wood.) Hope you are feeling better along with Buster :-) I can't wait to see the new White Trash Potato Salad video. I bet it will be GOOD! Take care
sorry for the poor dog ;)

I doubt they are deep ticks but up north when we go camping, I get bites all the time.
I WISH we could get some sun. It's only just starting to heat up.
