The problem with Apple opneing OSX up for the rest of the world to use on any computer, is it would cause the operating system to become instable. Apple can maintain a completel rock-solid OS because they know every little part that will be going into their computers, and build it around that. They can make sure everything works.

Por que eu to meio desatulizado em questão das patches pra rodar osx no PC.

eu sei que tão usando EFI no bootloader invez de patchar o kernel, mas o que esta se fazendo com o SMC e a identificação do modelo/numero serial provida por ele por acesso direto. Pois que eu me lembre para solucionar isso tinha que patchar o AppleSMBios.kext

Mas como estão fazendo para que um update naum sobreponha a patch?

A perfect Hackintosh doesn't use injectors, it uses EFI strings.

2. Processor-Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 ($79.00)

3. GPU-Nvidia Geforce 7300GS 256MB ($22.00)

4. Ram-2x1GB Kingston 667mhz DDR2 ($24.99)

5. Mid-Tower case Micro-ATX w/PSU($34.99)

I had some spare parts such as, DVD writer and monitor.

All just under $220 bucks

I used iDeneb 10.5.5 works like a charm

no patching, but a few drivers were needed.

If OSX is so much better, than we are really just talking about the OS which prices on newegg at around $120. The hardware is where they rape you. Spec for spec you could get a system for $800 to $1000 cheaper as far as hardware is concerned(13" MacBook). So if you can run Mac OSX under Linux just fine, where is the value in a Mac? Your paying out your ass for hardware. OS's are tools and should be treated as such. But you are free to carry overpriced hardware & evangelize it little Appleseed.

luisbustamante420, I sense a little envy there. Mac OSX is a wonderful operating system. Much better than Windbows. However Apple is essentially selling PC's in a pretty box and charging a premium for it. I'm not interested in pretty. I'm interested in the rock solid OS that comes with it. My Hackintosh runs great and is faster than most genuine macs on the market and was built for a fraction of the cost. Don't get mad at us because you don't have the know how and spent way to much. :)

Hey, I got a hackintosh running vanilla atm except my presonus firestudio doesn't like the Texas instruments 1394 chip i have. I went onto ebay and purcahsed a 10 dollar VIA card like u have but was wondering what chipset the one you have is?

Hopefully this chipset will be supported and work with my firestudio.

If you cant boot OS X without the DVD then you most likely have the wrong kind of boot loader installed if you have GUID and its happening try changing it to MBR , might fix the problem.,

I succeessful installed Leopard 10.5.1 into my PC and its working but it can not boot without installation DVD inside, second the DVD player cant work anymore, it quite as trying to open DVD video. How can i do to solve this.

And how to configure for Internet while am using Huawei Telephone Modem to connect to the internet on PC.

I am having Dell inspiron 1501. I honestly dont know my specs. however I installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on it. I'm sure the processor is AMD sual Core X2 TK55. Graphic card is ATI X1150 and audio card is Sigmatel something..

My VGA and sound isnt working. Also my PC is slow even itz Dual core. The startup of OS X also takes an hour. It gets stuck on the apple screen while loading OS X.

PLEASE HELP ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!

Well, you're completely wrong. First, we're not actually a hacker group or any crap like that, just enthusiasts like you and Hardcore Mac Fans since 1984. Second, a normal user would prefer to buy a Mac instead of going into insanelymac to browse for compatible hardware, download kalyway, and so on. And last, the hardware we're using is just cheap hardware that the guys on InsanelyMac just ignored (or not tested at all).

If you're with your hackintosh up and running with your GPU doing 3D, just download the demo and install it! Or better, buy Unity3D, if you're into Game Development, it's a great engine for beginners and even seasoned Game Developers

LOL, sorry, we didn't posted our specs because we posted this video in order to people e-mail us (actually we are receiving many emails in a daily basis) and seek for advice since we have built many configurations, even ones like that that were undocumented in hackintosh forums alike.
