  • I GET GOOSEBUMPS EVERY TIME I SEE THIS.!!

  • Will someone explain to me why women can't parallel park? I mean good lord it's not rocket science, LoL

  • Its obvious that the "audience" was whacked.

  • type this and wath The Sopranos - The scissors,The Sopranos - Lincoln,Sopranos - Adriana la Cerva the cat and one more thing...i cant remember know but its about that paulie was on ny side, cant typing right now...just watch.

  • Everyone can talk about what happened but no one knows at all. Tbh it was a bad ending.

  • oh ho Whaatz ir Handle Asiff ....As If u _as yu Know?? Everyones better than ok ...

  • They didn't make the clear end, because they'll maybe need a money in the future so they can continue with filming...Simply they've left space we can discuss about!

  • @nykolayevich There is absolutely no way, short of showing Tony's dead body which they were not willing to do, to make the ending any clearer. The events of the final scene are crystal clear. The man in the Members Only Jacket (that is his name, look at the credits) shot Tony in the back of the head while he was leaving the bathroom. That is what happened. Tony died instantly. You can even hear Meadow screaming for him to come back during Tony's coma (foreshadowing).

  • @Melthornal Yes,but they can continue story-they didn't show or write us that everyone are dead so Meadow,AJ or Carm can go on with mafia bussiness, but it'll be useless without Tony...so it's more logically that Tony is dead. Can you tell me where can I hear Meadow's screaming, discluding episode where he fell in coma?

  • @nykolayevich That is the episode. It is called foreshadowing.

  • @nykolayevich Also the first episode of season 6 in the opening montage. It says Meadow is his guardian angel. Hence him dying because she showed up late. She wasn't there to protect him.

  • @Melthornal I didn't watch it continuously from beginning so I don't know a lot of things...but I'll download all 6 seasons and watch it..

  • Though there is obviously only 1 explanation to this ending I think Chase "could" have made it more explicit by showing meadow walk in for a split second before going black. That would have been slightly less ambiguous than having the timing of his death coincide with a cut to POV. I think this alone is what caused the whole debate over this ending. There would still be no need to show blood spattered across the table. All chase needed to do was show literally 5 frames of the door opening and b

  • if anything it says he's too relaxed and has lost his chance at redemption after coming out of the coma (particularly after he kills Chris)

  • I just love how the song goes "Dont stop.." and then it stops. lol

  • He so got shot at the end.

  • i would be sure my tv just blew a gasket...in fact, i thought it did the first time...then the credits came up..then i thought: 'wtf'...

  • anyone saying this ending is shit basically saying "unfortunately, due to being spoonfed over-simplified lowest common denominator Hollywood shit for years, i cannot understand what's happening here."

you have to THINK!!!! that's the beauty of it!

this ending is a masterpiece in SHOW DONT TELL. unfortunately TV and films these days tend to do the exact obvious and hand you the story on a platter.

as David Chase said about the ending "it's all there, you just have to look closely"

  • @IndependentGeorge76 I teach an acting class, and I always tell the kids "Know your gags and hit them hard..." in other words, don't ASSUME the audience is gonna laugh...spoon feed 'em....kinda the opposite of what you're saying, unfortunately, your TYPICAL viewer usually isn't that smart

  • @SpikeMichaels really ? that's depressing as hell... basically you're teaching actors not to respect the audience's intelligence ? where's the ambiguity and nuances if you have a metaphoric cymbal crash after every gag ?

    marvelous...

  • @IndependentGeorge76 Right, that's why my students have worked for Jon Favreau, Carlos Santana, Sam Raimi,Marvel, Disney, Nickelodean, and others....I have a student signed to CAA and another one about to be signed by William Morris...trust me, I know more about this than you do...."Independent George", nice SEINFELD reference....so why don't you bite me, OK? Is that cool?

  • @SpikeMichaels why are you making assumptions on what i may or may not know ? so far you've asserted your 'expertise' in both posts. i'm not interested in how high you can piss up a wall, old sport.

it;s possible you may be a fine teacher, however, i find it depressing that you espousing teaching acting without ambiguity and respect for the audience. great art is not made this way.

  • I watched the sopranos like a 100 times, best series ever but the ENDING?!! JESUS CHRIST

  • i have just finished it 10mins ago...and i was like WTF how could make this series end like this...tony sopranos dies?!? i mean come on man his a legend

  • worst series finale of all time that and angel

  • I never watched this show. I've seen scenes and it does look fucking awesome but I wish I had started watching it before everyone made a big deal about the end episode. Now all I'll see is the black screen and thousands of internet fatties arguing about it. Guess I will stick with Breaking Bad.

  • I think Tony got shot in the head at 3'oclock by members only guy coming out of the bathroom.

the bell ringing is Meadow coming through the door and then BOOM his brains are out the left side of his head.

the ending has left me quite pissed of and i will pirate David Chases work, he wastes my time i waste his.

  • A disappointing ending. They could have done anything with it and ending up by doing absolutely nothing.

  • @orourkeda I think David Chase explains why it was ended this way. Stop complaining, it has come to be a significant ending with a lot of symbology all around.

  • @Mickyg4444 I have yet to find that supposed interview either in video or an article where david chase admits to that. The only one I keep coming across is the one where he admits the opposite

  • The ending is simple. Tony always said throughout the series "ya never know when the end is gonna come it just all fades to black"

  • oh my god i love that songg , its suit everything perfect omgomgomg

  • What a cop out ending.

Any long standing series could execute this type of ending.

Mister moffia, tuff guy, creator literally "pussed out".

Nothing creative, at all, as far as I'm concerened.

  • @edgazda

Yeah you're right - there is nothing creative at all about being the first show in history to accurately depict death from the point of view of the main character.... You clearly did not understand the ending.

  • @matlm

Ok the ending is open to interpretation. You clearly only value your opinion.

If it is POV from Tony, why a 1st person facial shot at the end? Is it from the killer's view? That walked in right before Meadow? That would nix your, cleary right, interpretation.

It would seem that the final shot should've been from Tony's eyes (in his point of view).

  • @edgazda

The ending is not open to interpretation. The only flashback in the series was done in the penultimate episode which tells you exactly what happens when you die (bobby and tony on the boat).

It's not a first person facial shot at the end. It's black, which is Tony's POV.

  • @matlm

"The ending is not open to interpretation"

Really? Why is there still an on-line debate, years later? Do you see yourself so smart that you have the answer?

In a Tony voice "Ya know it might serve you good to realize your opion might not be right".

In my voice, "Usually, when you think you are the the smartest person in the room... that is the exact moment you are the most foolish".

  • @edgazda

It's as open to interpretation as the bible's stance on homosexuality. People debate it, but at the end of the day, it's pretty black and white. When when it comes to the Sopranos.

I mean really, do you think David Chase was sitting there "Well guys, I am about to end what could be the most important show in modern television history. Let's give the fans a big fuck you and cut to black."

There is a reason for cutting to black, and all the evidence points to only one explanation.

  • @matlm

Wow.......are you really comparing the Soprano's debateable ending to the Bible's debatable's?

Sheeeesh let me out.....you are a freak!!

You seem to be a close minded idiot that can't accept any other "OPINION" other than yours. You are far more the clown than the student.

    Wow are you a wacko!

  • @edgazda

Yes, I am making a comparison. Kindly tell me how it's different. In both instances, you're given a black and white subject matter with only one possible interpretation. In terms of being an idiot, I graduated undergrad with a 3.97 and currently hold a 95% as a masters student. I've published in the NY Times and have an IQ of 131. I expect your explanation as to how to objectivity of a cut and dry statement from the bible and the sopranos ending to be up to my scholarly standards.

  • @matlm This makes you sound like a real douche

  • @edgazda

Just to clarify, by flashback I mean a flashback to a scene previously seen on the show. Not a flashback to a time before the show started.

  • All of humanities evoltion and ending and the infinity of the universe passes by in that blackness when we are dead.

  • David Chase wanted it this way, the shot with the man walking to the bathroom was a tribute to The Godfather, where he gets the gun from the bathroom. As for the cut ending - tony's fate is unknown and left up to the viewer, even David Chase said that

  • WHACKED.

  • The fact Tony would eat in the dead center of a restaurant while a "war" was still going on was very unrealistic. Yeah, Phil was dead, but that by no means would mean the family war was over. Phil still had loyal Capos and ones who would no doubt finish Tony off.

In reality, Tony would still be in protective hiding during this time, not with his family in public (putting them at risk as well).

  • Doh! Just realized he was reaching for his gun. Very interesting...

  • (tony looks up to the door) DONT STOP-BANG! Bullet through tonys head.

  • @faxstax , I wonder if you've finally accepted that Tony Soprano was dead. This is a prime lesson in how our world's been tweaked so badly where we worship movie and TV characters as if they were idols or gods.

  • @kara11223344556677 , I totally agree with this assessment. This is what I think happened.

  • The suspence is the greatest!

  • no

  • Great show but not the greatest ever. although HBO won't be dissapointed. The greatest is the wire. Jimmy McNulty, Bunk Moreland and Omar take the award!!!

  • IMHO, the end is Chase's way of saying "You've followed this through 6 seasons and you've been taken inside these characters' heads and lives - now it's your turn to make a decision", or even "You know goddamn well what happened, now grow a pair of balls and accept it".

  • Tony and his family keeped eat like an animal, Butch ''Little Man'' Concini is the new boss to Lupertazzi, who made deal with Fat Ass Tony so he won't order any fcking hit, also there is no capo in DiMeo family who'll want to make hit on fat guy,so nothing happened...

  • Remember watching ending on TV, when I hadn't been following it. Didn't pick up on this ending. Bit of a downer. Who was left that could/would have killed him though?

  • @gunninlinguist , it's being shown through Tony's eyes so that's when it goes black. Meaning he was shot in the head and died instantly. Lights out. Remember Tony had been talking about death on the camping trip and while fishing, they said 'it would probably be instant lights out' or something similar. The 1 thing that bothers me is Meadow. It must mean that her having problems parking saved her life. Cuz Tony looks up when he hears the bell, but u also hear the bathroom door shut.

  • @mondocrat

I'm asking who had him killed. I know he dies didn't you read my comment.

  • @gunninlinguist

    No telling.

Phil was dead, his underboss (Carlo) was a rat, so someone had to take over next. Someone from that family might of been wanting to prep himself for role of next boss. Killing Tony would have sent a message for being a potential new boss who gets shit done.

On top of that Tony's family had gone to shit. He'd lost his top Capos, underboss in coma, consiglere dead. Some in his own family might of saw the opening to take over as new boss.

  • Just a question. After Leotardo was killed, did someone put out a hit on Tony, or was it just some guy that was hired by Leotardo before his death?

I also have a wild thoery. After Tony saw Silvio in hospital in a coma he wont wake up from, Bobby getting killed, Junior insane, Melfi giving up And Carlo turned co-operator. Tony Tony decided to have himself killed rather then spend his life in jail. But didnt want to know when it was comming. But only issue was why infront of family? Closure?

  • @Staff777 You absolute idiot.

  • Comment removed

  • I got another theory, David Chase ran out of tape.

  • The Guy in the Members Only Jacket kills Tony, We are constantly reminded that we are looking through the eyes of T, through this entire scene. Tony is always shown as being careless, not noticing the MOG as he is looking at AJ when they both walk in, not having his back to the wall, MOG constantly blurred in the background, despite looking directly at Tony, T just can't seem to register him.

  • @TaffTalk Also keep in mind at the begining of season 6 when Tony is shot by uncle junior, the episode is entitled "members only"... So maybe the man in the members only jacket "finished" the job.

  • he died chocking on the onion rings that fat bastard

  • why does everyone think it is a hitman walking into the restaurant, it is Meadow walking in when Tony looks up..

  • I always thought it could have been the Russian from the woods or the neighbour who sold Tony the pathfinder for Meadow... He was suppose to be taking off the NM and told Tony to come down sometime, and obviously would have had a hatred on for Tony.. i also thought it was Meadow who was going to get shot walking into the place

  • Honestly, this is either one of two things:

    1. Tony gets whacked. The smash cut of black is exactly what Tony is seeing, which is nothing because he was killed in an instant with a shot to the head. We don't hear anything because the bullet travels faster than sound and because he is dead we don't hear anything.

    2. It is to show us how Tony will spend the rest of his life. Over analyzing every little detail, everything is suspicious, and he will always be looking over his shoulder.

  • @Justachecking4545 You're right. I would honestly watch every damn episode if they make a seqeuls, with him as the head of mafia. Damn i burst in tears watching this.

  • is it implied they ALL got whacked or only tony?

  • man i could watch this scene over and over again and wish i was there i can imagine how sad they all were for finishing the sopranos

  • I always suspected that Chase would do a cameo of the hitman who would have killed Tony.

  • I'll add one you never heard before! Meadow walked in and whacked him. Actually everyone there was a hitman. they all got up and started shooting him. Seriously my belief is that he was shot in the back of the head, therefore didn't see anything and the black screen ended at the moment he died.

  • He wasn't wacked, or he was. They left it that way because it left it open for a new series of Saprano's or a film. It was just Licencing Purposes. That's The Truth,

  • Tony reaches for his gun @0.35 with his left arm (you see his elbow move up and back and his hand reach under the table.) This frees the gun up. Then again @4:29 he makes the axact same move. I like to think he reached his gun in time

  • In my own opinion, i think they never showed what happened because in future they will bring the series back, ( OR SO I HOPE ).

I was in the states last august in Saratoga Springs NY, and i went to a diner just like this one! Brings back great memories. Thanks america and thankyou to the amazing people i met!

  • @onebigeye

how do u know this for a fact? nobody knows what happened then and there in that scene, maybe he did get wacked or maybe he didnt we'll never know..

  • @Ozzy91331 David Chase had an interview where he essentially admitted to the fact that Tony was wacked, and strongly insisted that it wasn't a vague ending and that all the signs are there.

  • Sad as it is, Tony gets whacked. Without him, there's no show, so the blackout is the end of the ride. We hear the bell ring as Meadow comes in the door, and she's the last thing Tony sees, and she has a perfect view of her father's murder.

I was pissed off at first with the ending, but now I see it was really quite brilliant.

  • o.o i-i-i-i-i is that Joey Larocca??? 3:39

  • They didn't have a clear cut ending. So they end by just cutting to black. So everyone can blog and comment about "what really happened". It's also convenient for the writers and producers because no they can always keep people wondering If the show will start up again,or if they'll make a film

  • idd tony was whaced...

  • @Some1Jaded Nope, it was Tony.

  • People wake up, Tony is still the Coma he went into when Junior shot him - everything up to now has been a dream.

  • @pugghead I said this way back when the show was on the air that none of this was real & he was still in a coma, I kept telling my husband that through the whole season.

  • is the girl trying to kill him?

  • It's obvious Tony was whacked.

  • Comment removed

  • Ending was fucking genius. Can't believe people whine about it.

What did you want ? To see Tony take one to the head ? How generic, how expected. The point of view of "poof" gone, it's perfect. It's also bonechilling in a way because that's exactly what will be our point of view one day.

  • Tony is not dead, people who think that didnt understand the show ^^

  • The family were all wearing black. (Tony's funeral). They took communion w/ the onion rings. Everyone in the restaurant represents someone from Tony's past. The mural (that Chase's team set up) on the back wall is The Inn at the Oaks where Tony didn't go in and got his second chance to do the right thing. He didn't take that chance and therefore didn't remember telling AJ "remember the good times." He heres church bells when leaving the hospital...(bell dings in last scene). T is dead. POV

  • @82mccord yup, everytime sum 1 comes in the bell rings AND YOU SEE TONY'S point of view, member bobby saying " ibet you dont hear it when it happens" People think (who are a little slow on the up take) that it faded to black or watever, it didnt, it ended, it ended with tony getting shot. The last bell reveals his Point of view which is black(silence) hes dead. He was the narrator and alpha male of the series/family. Get it folks? Alpha/omega beggining/end TONY DIES!

  • no hes not

  • At first, me and my dad thought the cable cut out or some kind of public announcement cut into it... then the credits rolled. Biggest slap-in-the face ending to any long-running series ever. =/

  • Wow is that how it ended? I quit watching it when they were having marital problems, that's when it got boring. What a bullshit copout ending.

  • I think that shortly before Carmela enters the restaurant, one of her bodyguards hired by Tony enters. Even closer to each other, moving like a friendly team, A.J. and his bodyguard enters. The man may look suspicious from the counter, but he is actually friendly and worries about A.J. and the Sopranos. Then the killer of A.J. moves into position when A.J.’s bodyguard visits the men’s room. THE TWO BLACK GUYS KILLED A.J. ONE OF THEM IS THAT SOMALI GUY, WHO A.J. AND HIS FRINDS BEAT UP

  • the “black screen”, is for A.J. , you have to see life through the eyes of the person being killed. As the camera shows Tony, it cant be him. It has to be the person looking at him, and that is from this angle of view his son A.J. As Tony is still worried by possible reactions to the killing of Phil Leotardo, he had arranged for body guards to protect his family members. The peoples in the restaurant are body guards, but one is the killer.

  • When i watched the finale i was with my fiance in our dark bedroom. When it went black i thought the power went out and i was PISSED until i realized the alarm clock was still on and that was the end. On another note, thanks Sopranos for setting the bar so high for series finales. I haven't been satisfied since Sops and doubt any show can satisfy me ever again.

  • FUCK David Chase, its the same fucking thing.

  • The episode when tony is shot by Junior is called 'Members Only' and the guy who follows tony into the rest room is wearing a members only jacket.

  • Oh the voice and all of Steve Perry! Yum

  • I honestly didn't feel like he got whacked when I watched it. It just looks like it ends with them having a nice dinner.

  • I have to say its better than everyone getting killed or locked up like other Mobster endings.

  • The ending of this show ruined an entire series run of a show that wasn't all that great to begin with. David Chase is a One Trick Pony hack writer who obviously had run out of ideas for this show, hence the stalls in production & the wait of almost two years for new episodes at one point.

  • what's the building pictured on the back wall as Tony enters? Also who are the players depicted on either side?

  • Like if you thought your episode crashed

  • ..... Continued.

I wonder how many ppl like me thought shit what's happened and the episode crashed to then hold my breath for what felt like an hour and to then see the credits come up!!!

Enjoyed every episode, every season and hands down the best series I have ever seen!!!

  • After missing a season when it was aired and recently downloading the whole thing I finally did a marathon whilst avoiding all spoilers and only this week found the time to watch it all.....

I couldnt believe how it ended.... Was in total shock, I thought it was a genius way to leave it...

Some ppl would prefer a shooting and some a courtcase or other routes...

This was great to always have that in your mind of what happened!!!

I though my episode had crashed haha, I wonder how many ppl lik

  • Meadow's parking scene is symbolic of the attempts on Tony's life. The first attempt by the black guys failed. The second attempt by Jr. failed. The third attempt was a success.

  • @byro1884 took me a sec to remember that name. lol. Kind of teared up at the end of this show. The ending of a legacy.

  • He got whacked at the end by Kevin Finnerty. True story.

  • mann tony soprano was somthing

  • I hated Anthony jnr.. And the shit I would do to the later series of meadow, DAM!!

  • Actually, Chase wanted a black screen all the way up to the HBO logo with no credits. One of the unions wouldn't let them do it :/

  • the real question is why the hell cant she get in that wide ass parking space

  • @215purplehaze215

I would love to show her how to fit something large into a small space

  • worst ending ever

  • the clue is in the song, he picked Journeys dont stop believing instead of Tony Bennetts ive gotta be me............if you listen to the songs you can figure out the ending

  • I know that originally chase didn't even want credits. He wanted to go with 30 seconds of black then straight to the HBO symbol.

  • Jeez, people get so caught up in who's "right" and who's "wrong" that what they fail to realise is that the answer is staring them right in the face: everyone is right, no one is wrong. The brilliantly ambiguous ending allows the viewer to give it any ending they wish. You think Tony gets killed? Brilliant! You're right! A gold star for you. Oh, but you say your friend is stupid because he thinks Tony lives? Well, he's not stupid. He's right too. A gold star for him as well. Honestly.

  • @jerrymaguirenator Thats really funny.

  • I think that every thing that happened on the show was in Tony Sopranos point of view. Well if that's true then think about if you were just sitting there and your vision cut to black. You probably died. If you died then everybody around probably hears a gunshot and you were dead but you couldn't hear that. BOOM!!!! ___ |---|-O /___\

    |____ | \___/

  • Why everybody believes it was the guy at the bar who did it just because of the 3 o' clock thing amazes me. The guy walked in with A.J. Enough said.

  • i think he did die. think about it - all the series' are about following his life and how he jugles both the Mafia and his family. so, if thelast series ends like that- he must have been killed? or else the story would have gone on following his life.

  • @htownmiguel The message was for Paulie not tony. Chrisopher told Paulie 3 o clock. And Chris wasnt in hell he was in pergatory!

  • @meanmachine08

Chris in purgatory? That's good, I'll go directly in Heaven, then.

  • @htownmiguel wow, never thought of that, really good insight, thanks for that man (Y)

  • That's what you get for putting on Journey!

  • He got whacked by Phill's crew I guess?

  • @snorhoofd phils crew was in on phils hit....

  • Doesn't the guy at the bar at 2.30 look like Johnny Boy Soprano?

  • when is the movie coming out??????

  • Just like real life. 1 minute ur "present" next it's lights out. No question Tony was killed...my question is whether or not anyone else in the family was hit.

  • @2tim149 Cant remember which episode, but its clearly stated (by Tony I think) that family members dont get touched. The likely scenario is that he popped tony and walked out the front door in one swift movement. To stick around to do the whole family would practially mean he would have to murder the whole restaurant and thats not how the mob works.

  • personally in my own best oppinion if there was anyone at the diner who could have killed tony following the whole series from start to finish all seasons. There is no doudt it had to be the guy sitting at the counter italian looking guy obviously who as a dead give away gets up and walks to the bathroom everytime when i watch it i can only see him being the one not the two black guys who walked in. please tell me if anyone out there sees it that way.

  • .35 "ding" Tony's glance - .37 what Tony Sees (POV). .52 "ding" Tony's glance - .53 what Tony Sees (POV) 2.12 ding Tony's glance - 2.13 what Tony sees (Pov) 4.32 "ding" Tony's glance. - 4.33 what Tony sees (Nothing, ever again).

  • i hated it to start with but when i watched it again it really is an incredibly intricate bit of work with all the symbolism etc... RIP Tony Soprano :(

  • aight so i just finished watchin the soprano's but honestly the end sucked a lot!! for me this show ended when christopher moltisanti died best character ever for "the sopranos'"

  • @drumsex yeah i was so pissed when tony strangled him, that fat cunt. chris was a funny motherfucker

  • AT LEAST IT DIDNT END LIKE THE SOPRANOS WHERE THEY STOP MID SENT--

  • Jerry Seinfeld & his crew went to jail again for not helping someone from an act of crime after the black out. They just didn't learn!

  • WE ALL got whacked. YOU the viewers got whacked by Mr Chase and we NEVER heard it coming.

  • @pavlidja Yeah but the audience lives through Tony. Chase said so himself; after everything that happened they wanted blood --what a turn after they had been living through this guy all this time and enjoying it! Well Tony died, but we all died with him, as it should be -- and we didn't even hear or see it coming. A brilliant ending, but yes Tony did die 100%

  • @ShahidMiller Could be. The way I see it there is no reason for Tony to die. Everything is settled in the show and there is no reason for Tony to die whether the audience wanted that or not. All the panning around the diner made the viewers nervous, not Tony, he is fine but then again who knows. That's just how I see it.

  • @pavlidja is there a reson for tony NOT to die? Dude, face it

  • Tony is alive!

  • wow, she's a bad parallel parker ! it shouldn't take more than 30 seconds to do that !

  • Get Whacked? He did - we did - we deserved it! It's kinda funny to see how many people have yet to see what happened here. You don't hear it when it happens..!

  • Perhaps the whole family was taken out at the dinner table! ....and/or meadow was the only surviver.

  • Now...the question is was medow shot? Is the last thing/person tony saw was his daughter before he was shot by the man that was staring and proceeded his way to the washroom? What a horrible ending. They didn't even show that the 4 of them (family enjoy their dinner! Shit Ending....Seem alot of these shit ending to movies and good shows!

  • anyone who thinks tony is alive is a moron, Go to google and type in master of sopranos and read it, it explains every to all the morons out there...

    RIP TONY SOPRANO

  • RIP TONY SOPRANO

  • the series had such a great selcetion of music. was that talking heads at the beginning of the scene?

  • this scene had alot of hidden meaning to it. all the people in the restaurant are from previous episodes, all which tony had almost come close to death because of them. the number of misses that meadow make while trying to park the car signifies the attempts on tony's life. the first listing of songs on the juke is Only the strong survive. second song im alive hmm? tony when choosing the song he pressed K-3 ( killed 3) the pouring the coffee with three creamers. the man behind AJ stares at tony

  • @mastercheif1989 Hey there, I read somewhere, in the beginning of the sixth season, it talked about the guardian angel being late, when Meadow was doing her strip tease for Flynn. If she was on time, Tony would've been alive, because she was late, the Members Only man had a clear shot, and took it.

  • yeah but in that season it mentions that when it all turns black thats when u know so i think tony got whacked

  • So freaking terrible. Could've at least faded into the black 30 seconds. All that good show ends with nothing? WTF.

  • Thats the beauty of the ending. It's left open to interpretation. The debate of how it ends will last forever, and thats what makes the Sopranos timeless.

  • Was driving me crazy when Meadow was parking the care...Just keep think to myself "Park the freakin car"

  • the last thing tony sopranos ate was a fucking onion ring....

  • Personally, I loved this ending. And if this was halfway through a season, everyone else would have loved it too. It's the fact that there will never be anything beyond this that made it so great, however.

  • lol meadow cant parallel park

  • also when tony was outside raking the leafs, he looks up at the trees, representing the trees from his coma, but the thing about these trees are they are dead its fall its forshadowing something bad is gonna happen..look how they eat the onion rings at the end, they dont bite them they put em in there mouth all 3 of them why would chase put that in the seen as well.. sooo much more to talk about, by the bottem line is tony is dead.. david chase is one of the smartest writers ever GREAT SHOW!!!!

  • the cat is a bad oman, the football players rep tonys young football career which he could of had, the guy in the members only jacket hmmmm lets see the guys who shot sil had a memebers only jacket, same with richie, eugene, and feetch all wore memebers only jackets, right before phil was killed he was talkin about pills, tony and carmella are talkin about pills, phil got killed infront of his family, boss for a boss tony is next..

  • anybody who thinks tony didnt die is a moron and doesnt know shit about sopranos.

  • @TheMoneymaker662 Damn, thanks for pointing out a lot of stuff i never noticed...gotta watch it again. You might be right, but thats the beauty of the ending is that we will never know for sure if tony was wacked or not. I think the cat represented Christopher no?
