Tip for single player Expert: Use the Shotguns the most, they cause the most damage at close range and easy to kill tanks and other specials.

Con: Can cause you to shoot the dumbass AIs

I have to disagree with the fact that there is only 4 medpacks per chapter. The director may spawn more medpacks but it will be very rare. The only time the director will most likely spawn a medpack is in the ambulance at the end of the sewers in no mercy

killing the witch is easy tbh, I done it with a pump shotgun, I shoot her even before she stands up, and then it just takes 1 shot most of the time, can also be done with the sniper from long range :D

Great tips! The only thing I didn't know is that you take more dammage from the front then the back. You had no tip about crouching to improve accuracy and teamates can then also shoot the zombies. In expert this is vital!!

hordes on expert also arrive mush faster and last longer,witch r startled in about 4 secs and will almost always spawn in the paths you take,if u manage to avoid her with startling her,she willbe spawn ed at a higher rate and in your path alot more often,tanks spawn in vital paths as well.

i knew all of this when i played expert, i would always heal when injured,but i quickly found out that u will get hurt again quickly.i've been killed by witches alot on expert.(in l4d2) i cr0wn her most of the time with any auto shoties. i've notcied health kits r very rare,pills become common the better weapons r hard to find.and sp. infecteds reactions r faster and deal brutal amounts of damage on expert the team must be ready for anything.

@chadmcbride1 dont forget avoidance is also harder since witches will almost always spawn in vital paths u must take and she will attack in 4 secs.it best to run by her 1 by 1,(its impossible with bots). shotguns at close range to her face work well to.

the first aid thing, thats not true. Depending on how well your doing, the Director will spawn less first aid throughout the level besides the safe room. If your doing terribly, you'll find a bit more first aid kits throughout (not by much though)

okay, I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but on some of the levels, the AI gets glitched, and they have almost NO self preservation, a common could be clawing them until they are dead, and not do a thing about it, the only thing they shoot are the Tanks.

alright, listen. on blood harvest i was playing and one guy died from a which in the corn field. the three of us lasted in the house until rescue came/we ran for it. one of us got pulled by a smoker (we left him tank) me and the final guy were in and got incapped inside the rescuse vehicle from the tank. the tank left to kill the guy who got pulled by a smoker. i never got the achievement for blood hatvest b4 that. me and another guy were incappe inside the cehicle and i still got the achivement

all good, but incorrect on zombie attacks front and back, the direct of the strike does not matter, the zombie simply chooses to use a quick hit or a slower hit. the slower hit being the 20 damage, the quick hit being 10

I've never been able to finish a campaign on L4D on expert; I've gotten to the finale like four times with bots, but the bots just end up failing miserably (wish I had minimal squad control), and whenever I play with my friends, it's usually on normal because of the varying skill levels, but we do advanced sometimes.. when I play by myself, it's usually on advanced, but the bots still let me stay pounced/constricted for far too fucking long either way, no matter the difficulty. l4d2 demo owns.

A lot of Expert mode heavily depends on competent teammates, so I think it's a no brainer that you play with your friends (who are also good players).

2) u can hide in the safe house from the witches! they will come near the door look around for you! who startled the witch! but cant see you for some reason through the door... (this might have been fixed i not got any updates for l4d for a while)

3) something i picked up else where you can turn the diffculty 2 easy while fighting tanks (note tanks will have hp of expert and strength of easy) warning through forgetting 2 change back for a long epriod of time will ruin ur chance of getting it!!!
