Although I have to wonder. Sorry for the double posting, but I notice this is run on an Emulator, and exhibits some graphical artifacts. I wonder if it'd run any better on a real VIC-20?

Which artefacts do you mean? I've run this demo on a real VIC-20 (or VC-20 here in Germany) and noticed no differences. If you could tell me which ones you mean, I'll double-check tomorrow.

During the Portal sequence. When the first portal moves to the top and the second apears at 1:40, the first portal does not appear smoothly, the colors change smoothly in the top portal at 1:44 but the bottom one has a few blocks lingering, and at 1:50 a stray block of ... whatever... appears in the bottom portal.

At 2:00, during the three, the top portal again shows blocky "glitches". At 2:08, a phanotm top portal repaints, as well.

Maybe I'm being too nitpicky though, as it's still awesome.
