  • i agree with gavranarh

  • I think the music sets the tone. Not only can I change the bracket, but I can also do it in the comfort of an imaginary elevator =]

  • i cant stand this vid

  • The most important parts i.e. the disassembly itself is not shown, so this effort though admirable, is hardly helpful.

  • Sounds sooo high.. x)

  • This vid ended w/o the installation!

  • @maddog0610 hence the title "REMOVING cranks and bottom bracket"

  • for cleaning parts i would use break cleaner it works good on every thing from breens to the frame it self

  • Can anyone tell me the tools a need?

  • i like thet alen key, wheir did you get it from ?

  • should have shown the removal of the bottom bracket, not just a before and after.

  • fucking gay music fagggot

  • @DrMrSciDipling Your a gay commie! Go back under your rock and mind your own business.

  • @dieselworld I know gay men who could and would knock you out with one punch

  • @mosaicglass LOL go back to playing xbox little child!

  • @dieselworld hmmmm I have never in my life played xbox. I did play atari back in the early 80s though. Anyway I am not surprised that along with your homophobic comments come more neanderthal knee jerk reactions. Have fun son.

  • @dieselworld Oh I see you took the time to look at my videos and try to insult me. What's it like to have such a fragile ego?

  • Thumbs up for elevator music!

  • What are the sturdiest BBs and crank sets for xc bikes?

    I don't care about weight.

    I have:

    shimano HG50 9s 11-34t BB

    Dehore M590 44/32/22t crank set

    Cheers!

  • Thanks a lot. Just what i needed to see because my bikes got a real major case of loose bearings!

  • i had to stop watching due to the gay music. Sorry.

  • you ask if the viewer can hear the loose bottom bracket, but the muzak drowns out the noise of the loose bracket.

  • @MrBenlindon Its called a Bottom Bracket Tool

  • @MrBenlindon Not sure what the exact name is but a lot of the time, a splined cassette tool fits a sealed bottom bracket. It did in my case.

  • You did not show how it came out. What

    a waste...!

  • Oops. That was meant to be a search.

  • Removing octalink

  • Cracking video mate! Keep up the good work :)

  • hello : )

is it a reverse thread on the drive side for the crank bolt? i have a race face forged isis, but the drive side bolt is on real tight i am worried which direction to turn? thanks for help.

  • Maybe also mention about the reverse thread on one side? (I dunno if that is standard on all bikes?)

  • Very helpful, but would be better without the background music as it makes it difficult to concentrate on the voice. Thanks for sharing.

  • well i can safely say my bb needs changing considering my cranks slide of with a easily enough that if i was to tip my bike they will fall off unless bolted on :L an they get loose after about 2 rides hehe

  • @SuperMRHaloman You just need to use some sealing glue and really crank down the nut that holds you cranks on. (fixierider?)

  • @NRPCup ill try that =) n nah im not fixie its for my DH bike

  • what is the part No.or size of that tool U used ? is that a bbt- 22 ? Awesome VID

  • Those cranks are dinosaur. Get some external shimano cranks like LX or even race face external cranks. Those internal cranks are obsolete technology. External bearing cranks especially shimano are super easy to install and take off and are stiffer and better than those old cranks.
