  • I wached this movie yesterday and nearly peed in my pants

  • great movie i got it out a dvd and um yeah mum and I watched the alternative ending and it was way more realistic to the theatrical but i never got to watch the theoretical ending but i heard Steven Spielberg made the theatrical one

  • The movie wasn't the worst I've seen. I actually liked it. I've always liked & been fascinated by paranormal activities, whether is real or fake. The thing that matters is if it's believable & like you said, has an effect on you. One of the worst movies I've seen to even make it into theaters is Drag Me To Hell. Now that's a horrible film. I laughed throughout the whole film!! XD

  • i agree i saw it last night and it has a creepness to it.

  • I rather see the exorcist then this shit..

  • @Dragzilla66 then you have no imagination and should probably go find some

  • @AlexB4455 You have no imagination because you believe the shit people give you Alex!

  • @Dragzilla66 ahh what dude just shut up man you're only embarrassing yourself plus I made a new you tube acc so I don't have much on my page but what did that have to do with this fight man and how the hell dose me having a imagination mean i let people give me shit what the fuck everyone has one but obviously yours is to big because you think of some really pathetic shit man so just fuck off

  • Looks who's talking shit head.. Your the only dumbass to like this movie fucker..

  • @Dragzilla66 ahh what no you really can't read aye look at all the comments because mi assuming you have no life so you can do it i would check but i have common sense

  • @AlexB4455 Still talking shit ass breath..

  • @Dragzilla66 wow man i didn't know i could get under some ones skin so much and I reckon you should stop because you're only making yourself look like a douche and plz plz stop making a scene ( bloody 8 year old)

  • @AlexB4455 I can't even understand you anymore you ugly ass ginger bastard..

  • @Dragzilla66 wow you must be really dumb then and I am surprised you're still going on about it it's kinda sad really

  • @AlexB4455 I'm amazed that your still replying back to me asshole... Really mature..

  • it was a real good movie it wasnt that scary but it was still a very good movie

  • I really loved this movie.I found it really origional and actually scary. When people say this isn't scary and things like saw are then you must be crazy.Gorey is gross not scary there is a different people. The ending I saw was when she threw her boyfriend at the camera. Then I saw the rocking ended and I found the one with her throwing her boyfriend at the camera was more effect and the other with the police was a let down. The ending of a scary movie shoud be scarier then the rest of the scenes.

  • This film was awesome. Great story, great acting, great film. Anyone who doesn't like this film obviously just don't get it!

  • I ran out of the theatre at one point haha.

It was scary as hell, I agree.

  • Katie had her freakin foot out from under the blanket the whole movie and on the night she doesnt she gets dragged out

  • I saw it on Saturday and haven't slept yet.

Also saw the original version tonight and I have to say I liked the new version better. A knife killing Micah just didn't demony enough to me. Also the cops at the end of the original were just terrible actors.... and I happen to know that San Diego cops have tazers (from experience). Scariest? I don't know.. I think The Exorcist still takes that title, but certainly up there in the top ten.

  • knock on the door then her friend calling for them, then she see's mika dead and starts yelling. then like 3hrs latter the police start banging on the door then they come in see mika dead call for help then they come up starts and see her sitting near the bed then she gets up and is like "mika, weres mika!" with the knife in her hand then the cops shoot her and shes dead. and it ends. so she was posesed when see killed him but this ending was better for me

  • I liked the orignal ending better. The orignal ending for whoever wants to know is when she goes down stars she kills him comes back up with a knife in her hand and her shirt is filled with blood. and she sits next to the bed and starts to rock back and forth for like 2 days then the phone rings and the ansering matchin picks it up and its her friend checking up on them. so then you here a

  • I liked the movie, i mean i thought it was ok. I think its was good but its was not THAT scary. I thought the scary parts were when she got pulled off the bed and the door slammed after her. and when she would wake up and stand there and stare at him, that was freaky. And when she killed him it just bothered me. I saw both endings the "hollywood" ending and the orignal ending i thought the orignal ending was much better cuz it seemed more real then her thowing him to the cammra

  • Gee, thanks for ruining it... Lol. :(

  • ow sorry i thought you wanted us to tell you :(

  • fuckkk i have to see this

  • this movie makes you so paranoid! i love the feeling. i got the same feeling from blair witch everytime i go into a basement.

  • correction not the scariest...

  • one more thing dont think its the scariest but its one that bothers u for days..like really bothers u..my first question was like if this is really so low of a budget then how were some of those effects achieved..i mean seriously how??and the sounds were like whoa..did i just hear that..i hear ppl commentin how much it sucked.idk i guess they jus went with with too much of an expectation..i didnt..i was like lets c wat this one has in it and when it was done i was like did that jus really happen

  • great thing about this is movie is the characters are unknown.from then on that creates this whole thing of ok is that real..second thing that gets too me is its a really really low budget movie..but damnnn..this thing looks so real..i think the endin sorta gave it away..visual effects..but damn...and the movie jus builds and builds and builds..if anyone watches it and dont find it truly creepy well thats them...but yo..idk wat to say..i was like wat did i jus watch there..is that for real..

  • Great review. I couldn't agree more with you about this movie. It capitalizes on the fear of the unseen and the noises that we all hear in our own homes. The acting, direction and concept were excellent. This is the horror movie that a lot of fans of the genre have been waiting for for a long time. Few films are legitimately scary anymore. I actually think that it is among the top 5 scariest movies I've ever scene. I don't understand why anybody wouldn't like it.

  • its seems to be taking on this love it or hate it status. i love it of course. as a horror genre fan this movie was a huge breath of fresh air. this is the best horror movie ive paid to see all year and it really gets into your head and stays there for a few days after. when you bring that feeling of dread and paranoia thats a good sign this movie works and has an effect. thanks for watching

  • As a horror genre fan myself, this was the worst movie I've ever paid money to see. The only feeling that stayed with me for days after was that I was mystified as to how/why so many people heaped so much unwarranted praise onto this atrocious film. Nobody in the theater liked it, and everbody I know in real life concurs that it was not only garbage, but one of the worst films they've ever endured in their entire lives. Only here on the net do you see favorable reviews. Coincidence... I'm sure.

  • One thing i thought was interesting was how much control over micah katie had. Like how when they were trying to leave and then she decides she doesn't want to.

  • Hahah man... I saw it twice. And I was shaking after the movie was done too. I mean... its not the scariness of the movie that gets you. Its the fact that it stays in your head for a damn long time. Plus just knowing that this stuff can actually happen to people makes it THAT much better.

  • Agree, ive seen one more time since this review, i just feel i gotta take everyone i know to go see it. thanks for watching

  • the movie was descent. it does kind of creep you out but i strongly disliked the very last scene, after katie throws mica across the room, and she stares at the camera and the demon face appears. i found it kind of cheesy...my opinion

  • I FINALLY got to see PA Friday night. I really liked it, CREEPY! plus that chick Katie has a nice set of ta ta's : P

  • agreed

  • A lot of people are asking why this movie is scary and what makes it different than anything else. It is plan and simple; the movie draws you in to believe that this really is happening to the couple. There is no CGI or any special camera effects, but the way they do it makes you feel this really is happening, and that is what makes this movie so scary. Lots of other films throw gore and blood at you, but it only numbs your senses and flips this switch in your mind that this is just a movie.

  • I liked the movie... alot.. its probably the scariest movie ive seen.. although dont take that too seriously because i havent seen EVERY scary movie out there...It was just genius on how they set you up..they slowly builded momentum and your just in your seat freaking out in the last maybe half of the movie..and i agree.. its because that it looks so realistic...special effects is what ruins scary movies....and there wasnt any CGI in this movie i mean if there waas it was very little

  • "RandBreviews" in your opinion, what is the scariest movie ever made? I love your reviews. I honestly haven't really had a movie giv me a hard time sleeping since the Ring. Yeah maybe I'm a wimp but the gore does not have the same mental mess ups in the past like psycho or exorcist. After listening to your review I'm terrified to see this movie....

  • its worth checking out but its not the scariest movie ever its just effective as hell and it stays with you. I cant answer the question of whats the scariest movie every because something different scares everyone, ill more reviews up this month of movies that have really scared me. thanks for watching and commenting

  • Nice pull-out on the good, the bad, and the ugly dvd.

  • thanks. you cant go wrong with the good the bad and ugly

  • i really want to see it but i am in the UK and it isnt getting released here

  • im sure it'll end up there soon enough, try contacting the company through the movies website and the more you ask for it the more likly your gonna get it. thanks for watching

  • best scary movie in the past 10 years

looks real the movie was well acted by the couple

  • I can honestly say that it was one of the best movies I've ever seen. I wasn't really expecting the ending, mainly because I didn't want anything to horrific to happen to them. It effectively scared me to the point that I do not want to go to sleep now. I don't think the fact that I saw it on the day mentioned after the last scene or the fact that I live in the town where it took place helps.

  • wow thats creepy. i took my brother to see this on the 11th and thats the final date in the movie and the whole theater kinda got freaked out. no one moved from their seats after the movie was over for at least a minute. it was awkward. I agree on the ending, its one of those movies where you know bad things will happen but you still hope they wont. thanks for watching.

  • dude, yeah that side note on texting. yo GIRLS! TURN OFF YOUR DAMN PHONES IN THE MOVIES!!!

The light from the phone is a distraction. I'm sure you can stay OFF Facebook for a couple of hours so as NOT to bother other people!!!! phew, glad I got that off my chest! lol

but yeah this movie rocked. Lots of girls were screaming in the theater I was in.

  • What is so scary about it? Is it mostly atmosphere or is it showing the demon?

  • its hard to esplain, its just like this paraniod feeling...thats what my freind said but its exstrymly scary...be carful before u see it =) im going to see it soon

  • it's the psychology in it that's scary AND I'M GOING TO SUCK YOU BLOOD BLEH BLEH you nigger

  • Great review, or rambling lol. I just saw the commercial for this movie 3 days ago, and I'm dying to see it. Demanded it several times for Indianapolis, but judging from the rate it's going it will open nation-wide pretty soon. I'm a horror movie fan. "Quarantine" and "Last House on the Left" are the best horror movies recently.

  • Saw it last night and really enjoyed it.

It was at this old theater built in the 30s that only has one screen. The owner told us that the theater is haunted by the ghost of a man who died there in the 60s and they've had paranormal investigators in there to check it out.

I was really glad to see it and agree that it's probably not the scariest movie ever. Some people will be disappointed especially if it's "The Grudge" crowd who is used to seeing the ghost every 20 seconds.

  • still not anywhere near me :(

  • go to there site and demand the movie, if it gets up to a million it'll be released nationwide

  • The best theater I have ever stepped foot in thus far is the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood. It's built around the original CineramaDome and is the most comfortable and classy theater. They introduce the film before it starts, they only show previews before the film and it is assigned seating so you don't have to rush in there like a cattle call. If you ever get out to the City of the Angels I highly recommend checking it out as it might very well turn out to be your new favorite movie house.

  • cant wait to see this! awesome video though!

  • thanks, post back here if you do see it, im always interested in peoples reactions to it.

  • hey brendan rented creepshow thought it was a great movie.

  • Awesome! glad to hear it. its a classic.

  • Great review. I saw it last night at 11:05pm at the Arclight Cinemas in Hollywood (Los Angeles). I'm a writer/producer and I love watching horror films as well and this movie freaked the shit out of me. And pretty much for all the reasons you stated in this video. A girl was shaking next to me in the theater, freaking out to the core. I told her friend to take her out of the theater but of course she didn't.

  • Wow its cool to see how effective this movie is to everyone. Hell ive made two videos discussing the same movie ever. thanks for watching.

  • OH hey cool you mentioned Chicago, thats where im from. Which Amc did you go to? I myself like certain theaters depending on what time of the day it is.

My house is 100 years old acording to my county tax bill.

  • AMC River East, great theater, its just massive and the sound and picture quility is just perfect. comfortable seats too.

  • When you said you went to Chicago I figured some suburb, never would have guessed you went all the way into Downtown. I usually only go downtown to eat not really for the theaters.

  • AWESOME shirt dude.

  • thanks

  • what is the scariest movie of all time in your opinion? i was just curious lol

  • your gonna hate this response but i cant say because everyone reacts a different way to things. The shinning really gave me the creeps and as a kid the chucky movies scaried to death, now there pretty funny. thanks for tuning in.

  • cant WAIT to see this!!!!
