not being rude! befor i convert to islam i thought all the muslims where very nice and kind! but i was wrong. sisters didnt want to make friends with me bcoz they thought i was going to marry their husbands. sisters used to put me down. sisters where so jealous of me most of them didnt even talk to me, the only time sisters wanted to talk to me was to find out why i was divorce or to find out whats going on in my life.

@KemAMP Thank you for your concern but before I became Muslim I did see a variety of professionals to "help" me with my issues. None of them succeeded and for most point none of them did very much for me at all.
Islam was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was the only thing that managed to bring me out of that dark place I was in. This is my 3rd year as a Muslim and I can say that I've never been a better or happier person than I am now.

I am Muslim myself and came from similar background. My stepfather was of Amish extraction and very brutal. He even threatened to kill me. It really caused me problems with the Christian religion. When I first converted to Islam, I think I did it to feel the protection of the Hijab, the rules, and the issolation from men, who I greatly feared. I worked past all that and now truly love Allah SWT. Inshallah, she will continue in Islam, and bad men will no longer have access to her.

@zidane247 For most part it isn't really all that difficult to talk about the majority of these things due to the fact I've been sent to so many councillors, doctors and social workers over the years. I've often had to repeat the same story over and over and over to appease them. Honestly they didn't help me a bit. That's why I love Islam so much - It helped me where everyone else failed.

I think you need a psychologist much more than a religion. I don't say this in a bad way. You have to fix those bad memories, not just hide them behind a veil. I think you are a like a very nice flower, beautiful but very fragile. Flowers are not meant to be hidden, but to thrive under the sun.

@KemAMP Thank you for your concern but before I became Muslim I did see a variety of professionals to "help" me with my issues. None of them succeeded and for most point none of them did very much for me at all.
Islam was the best thing that ever happened to me. It was the only thing that managed to bring me out of that dark place I was in. This is my 3rd year as a Muslim and I can say that I've never been a better or happier person than I am now.

I am Muslim myself and came from similar background. My stepfather was of Amish extraction and very brutal. He even threatened to kill me. It really caused me problems with the Christian religion. When I first converted to Islam, I think I did it to feel the protection of the Hijab, the rules, and the issolation from men, who I greatly feared. I worked past all that and now truly love Allah SWT. Inshallah, she will continue in Islam, and bad men will no longer have access to her.
