Typical pacifist Red Wing fan, Owens and Ericsson decided they wanted to settle things like men, and Downey, who ran from Sugden all game, decided then was a good time to play tough guy. Maybe he knew if Ericsson fought there, he'd instantly get waived, kinda like Holland did with McCarty.
