Do Mormons not realize that the mark of Cain was actually white skin? (I am white, btw). This is the most misunderstood fable in history. Cain and Abel were not brothers, and this is not a hebrew story. I read the book "CAN MITT ROMNEY SERVE TWO MASTERS?" and this book devotes an entire chapter to the horrific racism against Blacks (and Native Americans) in the Mormon Church and historical doctrine. It's horrible what Mormons believe about blacks and is written in their Book of Mormon. I would highly recommend that everyone read this book before going to the voting booth in 2012 for Romney. I am a Mormon. I have lived over 54 years and was raised in the church. You have to remember that the stereotyping of blacks was happening all over the world, not just a few thousand Mormons at that time. Many whites did not know Blacks very well and had never seen a black person or very few, if you were from the Midwest. And there were a lot of misconceptions. I read the book "CAN MITT ROMNEY SERVE TWO MASTERS?" and this book devotes an entire chapter to the horrific racism against Blacks (and Native Americans) in the Mormon Church and historical doctrine. It's horrible what Mormons believe about blacks and is written in their Book of Mormon. I would highly recommend that everyone read this book before going to the voting booth in 2012 for Romney. I am a Mormon. I have lived over 54 years and was raised in the church. You have to remember that the stereotyping of blacks was happening all over the world, not just a few thousand Mormons at that time. Many whites did not know Blacks very well and had never seen a black person or very few, if you were from the Midwest. And there were a lot of misconceptions. Don't allow your own prejudices and self directed hate to label present Mormons with the past.

It is always more meaningful, when trying to darken the image of Mormons, to quote individuals and leaders out of context.
Today, black Mormons are everywhere because they read the Book of Mormon and they pray to their maker about it's powerful truths, and they are inspired to embrace it and to live their lives in such a way that they know they are following their Savior, Jesus Christ. They love it. They are also loved and respected, and lead many congregations. And so can you. God bless.

The number of Perverted and Wicked people attacking the Mormons is a great identifier of how good and true the church is. If not for those wicked agents of evil, I would not have been drawn to the LDS church,, I was so sickened by the decline in morality that I've witnessed since my youth( I'm 40) that I took the time to see why so many are attacking them, I'm happy I did, it changed my life. I began investigating the LDS Church (Mormons) about 3 months ago, I simply walked into the chapel closes to where I live and attended the next church service. My life has changed so much since then, so many of my vices and sinful ways of living have simply dropped off, the spirit of the church has changed the way I think resulting in different decisions in my life, I now have a great job and new friends and my addictions are gone. I'm 39, male and looking forward to a better life now.
