As much as I like SF3rd strike and although I really want to get it, I don't actually have the game so I don't know much about it. So could someone explain to me why 12 seems to be the "worst" or "hardest" character to use in the game?

I don't know, that seems to be a matter of opinion. Each character has potential to be dominate, as we've seen here. It's how you use the characters is what matters, not who the character is.

like FLC said any character can be godly IF mastered, being able to keep your opponent guessing is important to...but yea I think 12 is low tier bcuz he takes alot of dmg wen getting hit and he doesnt deal too much damage either

Dealing low damage and taking high damage aren't what determine a character's value - as you well know characters like yun take heavy damage and don't deal out so much (although more than 12).

12's saving grace is his versatility - how the fuck do you attack a guy like this who knows how to use him? He's never strategically disadvantaged, even with RX's AEGIS! He's got air superiority, range, he's quick, and dirty tricks.

If you suck at this game you'll suck with 12.. it just takes skill.

Yun's super virtually guarantees free damage, and I don't think any other characters can lay claim to that (maybe Chun cos of her kara-throws and the threat of her super). He also can do up to 50% damage on even Hugo if he SJCs into super in the corner :O haha, though it's a rare situation.

@EmperorElliott well since kara palms became a new choreography in Yun's super, he can actually dish out even more damage in corners. And by the way, Yun DEFINITELY can deal out heavy damage, I don't know what game you're playing, but in third strike yun is god tier. And you say he takes heavy damage, which is also BS, LoL. BTW I'm a Makoto player in third strike, so no ''fanboy'' comments.

Dude RX vs Yamazaki was amazing...

It goes to show why statistics mean nothing to the individual. Enough skill can make any character dangerous, regardless of tier.

You could see though how playing low tier hampers gameplay when you compare the damage ratios for each character in the same match. Fortunately, damage ratios don't have that much to say when you know how to get around them :P
