It's the republican war mongers (neo-cons) who are Ron Paul's biggest obstacle. I suspect that among the masses - that more democrats favor Ron Paul's peace policies than republicans.
The abundance of closed state primaries is a problem. Most people have a misguided party loyalty. We must convince democrats to switch parties to vote for Dr. Paul in the primaries and then switch back if they like. This election will be decided in the primaries. Dr. Paul would easily win the general election.
