  • im a true beatles fan.sorry to say the hollies do this song much better

  • The vocals are very good in this version (seems a little rushed), but I like Harrison's guitar sound about 20 times better

  • Not even close to being good enough to compare. The Beatles are who they are because of the perfection in songwriting and covers.

  • Its not a cover, this song was written by Geroge and they were the first band to record it, then was the beatles

  • @zeromant80 Actually, the Beatles had their version recorded and mixed a few weeks earlier than the Hollies.

  • @CyberianHusky74 That what i just said

  • @CyberianHusky74

You're kidding? Two groups write the exact same song, produced by the same George Martin. Yeah, ok. Guess you were in the studio too.

  • The music side is very messy.

  • 0:50 "Can't you see how I'm too much in love?"

Harrison sings it as "But you see now I'm too much in love."

The two songs are sung so similarly... and I do like this version, but I think that the Beatles' one is "cleaner" in a sense.

  • I love The Beatles' more!

  • The Beatles version is much lighter and far more complimentary to Harrison's composition.

  • I love the Hollies. However the Beatles rule this song.

  • i prefer this to the beatles orig....

  • I think this blows the Beatles version away. George couldn't even sing it well. This has awesome vocals, a great beat... and it was relased BOFORE the Beatles did it. Yes, Harrison gave them the song because he didn't think they other two would give him another song on the upcoming record.

  • @laughingtiger123 George couldn't sing it well? LOL it's his song.

  • This is good, but it doesn't compare to Harrisons'.

  • Lame cover. Doesn't sound like it's even being sung right

  • @jwild611 Ok, valid point. Now how about you record a better one?

  • @T23P01 ok you got it i'll post you a PM when it's done.

  • @jwild611 Sounds great! Can't wait to hear it.

  • @jwild611 Im also waiting

  • @jwild611 Of course it doesn't sound right..NO Beatles song will sound right unless it's sung by the Beatles! lol :)

  • @jwild611 I'm waiting.....

  • @T23P01 Bottom line, George Harrison's ORIGINAL version was way better
