  • One false move, hauling A along the treeline.......KaPow.........I have a band called speedboat....ha ha......We made a Rock Video centered around Bass Boats , Bass Guitars, Bass Fish.....hope you like it......Check it out.

its called Bass Boat.......... It's on my youtube page............Peace..

  • Trim that puppy out and let her fly! Cool boat

  • filthy....

  • awesome motor but why would you want it on a bass boat?the bass aint gonna run away

  • Great running boat, looks like a blast to drive. I'm an outboard tech and that is the boat and motor that I'd love to own. The muscle car of boats right there.

  • What... They shoot the Bass with a harpoon?... Oh! a depth charge!

  • A boating accident waiting to happen! Slow down and fish please, thank you!

  • propman you have made some excellent videos and i just want to acknowledge that, and i'm sure some will agree. rickie, tim, and the rest of the drivers are good, and the camera man. they all be on point. BULLET BY CREED.

  • @dmrphibb Thanks..Should be making a new set of videos with new camera angles.

  • Antithropocentric. Ride in a Bullet or Allision so you can speak intelligently. You sound like a complete pinhead!

  • Is the point really fishing, or just finding a white-trash excuse to tear up calm water? I never understood the point of that "sport." Fishing should be leisurely.

  • imaging tubing or skiing behind that!

  • haha, the thing planes on the rear corner of the hull, thats sick

  • holy fuck...

  • thats some serious speed. i have a bass tracker nitro with a 2009 opi max 150 yamaha outboard and dam i only go mybe 65mph tops wow the bullet is really fast awsome boat guy...

  • Well ltwatts. I bet you've never riden in a Bullet or you would'nt have made such a dumbass statement. They're one of the smoothest, driest riding boats out there. Ride in one so you can speak intelligently about them!

  • @mrgreyghost01 You can talk to Allison about that.

  • @mrgreyghost01

    Sir,

    I have ridden in a 21XD with the same motor and a 21XDC with a 200HP Merc.

I guess you missed my comment about loving them? Stratos and Triton handle wind and wake more proficiently than a Bullet. The tradeoff? Triton and Stratos can't touch the speed of a Bullet.

So yes, I have ridden in a couple and I don't think I made quite the "dumbass statement" you've mistaken me to make, sir.

  • @mrgreyghost01 I'm with you on that brother, when i here people say that bullets are'nt made or want do well in windy choppy water the first thing come to mind is he or she dont have the slightest clue on what their talking about,ESPECIALLY when you do ride them on those particular days. i would ignore such comments that is not merited on facts but emotions.BULLET BY CREED

  • I love Bullets but they have only one problem:

If it's windy/choppy, forget about it! They aren't made to handle boat wake and wind.

  • i dont see any fishing poles hmmm

  • @redneckwhitedude 97 commanche, but its immaculate.

  • Love how that boats holds onto the water, whoever designed it is spot on!

  • thats a lil fast for trolling isnt it.

  • that thing isnt even getting wet, i own a ranger, but have always been facinated by these machines. very nice.

  • @lowlyfe302 what year ranger you got

  • I like the video and hell yeah is right that's not that rough I'm sponsored by bullet and willl never drive anything else but prop man on another one of your videos it looks like someone with an Allison does not know how to safely drive fast just sayin

  • somebody likes to get to fishing spots early

  • Comment removed

  • That's a pretty good trolling speed...104..or so.

  • I pulled up on a bullet wreck one day on Norris Lake. Mac Crumley owner of Norris Craft Boats was assisting a Bullet owner who had just dodged a jetski and hit his own wake. The Bullet boat was literally broke in half. Bullets and Norris Crafts are fun to fly through calm water at 100 mph. But, in rough water they are completely useless. And trying fish in wind is impossible. The boat drifts like a paper cup.

  • Comment removed

  • @dmrphibb LOL Man I know you love ur bullet but trust me. You apparently dont know what rough water is. Ive owned 3 Norris Craft boats. And rode in many of my friends Bullets. Bullet is made by a former employee of Mac Crumley who makes Norris Crafts. You go out on KY Lake in 20 mph wind and you wouldnt even be on plane. They are a light boat with no front draft. They fly. Thats why they fly. But rough water, (REALLY ROUGH WATER) is impossible in them.

  • @dmrphibb Now to answer your question. The owner of the Bullet was named Ron Brown. He came around a point at about 50mph. There was a jetski hugging the bank coming around the opposite side of the point. When they cross Ron was forced to lock the wheel in the direction of the turn. He spun completely around and hit the big wake right behind his boat. The boat hit the wake on its side and literally broke it in two. If you dont believe me just call Ron Brown or Mac Crumley either one and ask.

  • Comment removed

  • @dmrphibb And I wasnt saying Norris Crafts were better than Bullets. They are about equal in my opinion. I have owned 3 Norris Crafts. They are fun on lakes that the water doesnt get too rough on. But Im a tourney fisherman. I will fish Lake George one day then may be on Lake Erie the next. I promise you those boats wont take the waves in those kind of lakes when its rough. They are just not made for that. They are made to handle the lakes in East TN where they are made. And theyre made forspeed

  • Gotta love a MERC!!!

  • I want to know how many fish you caught!

  • I'd like to see a shot of an onboard GPS, because a F1 boat barely cracks 130. 107 seems kinda fast for a fiberglass tank.

  • I like that jackplate

  • I would be afraid that trolling motor would fly off and hit me in the face at 107mph lol

  • that sound good for an outboard

  • Great Video Tim, Could watch this for hours! Bullets are the best!

  • if onley americans knew how to drive boats PROPERLY.

  • @wahoobass properly...? how would that be?

  • @wahoobass looks like hes drivin it the way it was meant to be driven to me....

  • WHAT A PEICE!

  • Shoulda put that motor on an Allison bass boat!

  • Comment removed

  • chode merc

  • i get a bullet and took it to canada and it got stollen

  • i like my ranger bass boat better rather be more equipped for fishin then speed

  • @bassin4life2 hell yes! rangers are way better maybe not in speed but in hadeling rough water and fishability and dont look so goofy lol

  • the guy that builds these motors is from north carolina my uncle has a short shaft 2.5 liter merc on his 21 foot allison bass boat and the boat topped out at 105 mph

  • NEED ... FISH ... BADLY ...

  • these things dont float they fly.

  • Was this 107 on GPS? Just curious. I hit 106 once on GPS but never backed it up in my Allison GSE. The boat looks like it's running kind of wet too. Maybe you could hit 110 if you change your set up.

  • @Iriesushi Yes GPS. There were wind warnings the day we filmed. Could'nt trim it to were I normally do. Had to run flat. We were way up the river trying to get out of it. I was running a Performance Propeller Drag 4 this day. What prop are you running on your Allison?

  • JUst curious what prop were you running for the 107 and what rpms were you at. Also was curious about the gear ratio. Nice boat btw.

  • @Iriesushi 30" Mercury Lightning ET at 7800rpm's. 1.87 gear case.

  • how my hp's is a 2.5

  • 280 i think

  • whoaaa

  • That is friggin awesome!!!

  • That thing is hauling ASS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i only have a 150 mercury but its on a 1990 charger 17 and a half feet long.i got it up to 74 mph. at that speed theres no boat in the water

  • awsoome love to go fishing in that. on lakeo the woods

  • i wanna race

  • ive heard that 4 blades is slower than 3 in top end.. think it could go even faster???

  • dat be goin fast

  • Bad ass boat buddy...

  • that a 2.5 so that boat will at least hit 100. oh by the way, nice shot at 0:54 to 1:11

  • a guy i know has a 21 ft Gambler with a 250 mercury and he hit 84 hudson river

  • 87mph with a 250 Johnson loaded down on my storm is plenty fast for me. But those bullits are quite exceptional.

  • No! Ross Barnett Resevior, Brandon, MS.

  • Delta Pads and sawing wood go hand in hand. Takes some skill to keep it on the pad and going the right direction.

  • SICK! I wonder how much gas does that thing use an hour ? 15? 20?

  • have to go with luvmybullet

  • Look for an even better video of this boat in the next month or so!

  • you should just call it a norris craft, considering the guy who owns and now builds bullets used to work for mac jr., norris's are a better boat still...nice merc though......

  • No way gilisfloyd. Bullet far better. You obviously have never ridin in a Bullet. I have ridin in Norris. I bought Bullet! Bill Hill, owner, is the man. Better riding and faster!

  • you just made my point for me, a bullet is almost identicle to a norris, bill stole the design from mac crumley, they are almost the same boat, except norris craft's stripes look a hell of a lot better than bullets...

  • Sorry I disagree! Bullet is faster hull. We each have our own opinion. Bullet much prettier boat. That's the reason I own one, and not the Norris.

  • LOL .......8,750 rpms.....they sound much better at 10,400

  • Just wondering what fuel do you use and what mileage...or say on 25 gallons how many hours. Nice boat..oh is that a stock bullet, any weight reductions. Thanx

  • Stock Bullet. Hull was factory blueprinted. I run 93 octane pump fuel. 35cc heads. Gets around 4 miles to gallon, unless I run wide open. Then not so good! Horsepower likes lots of fuel. Thanks for asking!

  • I seen one of these boats today on the river and got a chubby. they are a sharp boat. would love to learn to drive one.

  • when you are riding solo do you put ballast in the boat?

  • Yes. 100lbs lead shot under the passenger seat.

  • oh ok now i understand because i didnt have much experiences with these drag motors

  • oh ok because i thought that the 300x made more horsepower because of the displacement and i have run boats with the 300x and it's very fast. I think that was a 225 2.5 promax that they cut to drag because it has the same cover as the 225 promax.

  • Acthetech - The motor on the yellow and white bullet is a 2.5 Drag. 300HP with some external and internal performance enhancements. It is a much faster motor on boats the weight of a Bullet. It would not be on a Ranger or Triton. The cubic in.

the 300X would be better. The weight of the performance hull boats, like the Bullet and Allison, 2.5 Drag far better. More RPM's and torque. If you're ever around Jackson, MS, I would love to give you a ride, and show you what I mean!

  • at 1:22 you can see the filming boat has a 300x. if the 300x would be with a shortshaft and some performance parts it would be faster in the 20xd

  • WRONG acthetech. You've never run the 2.5 Drag on a Bullet. Much stronger motor than 300X. 300X can not turn the RPM's. 2.5 SS makes peak horsepower at 8,750 RPM's. 300X is better on heavier boat.

  • nice moter and boat

  • Comment removed

  • Having done in June!

  • Yes BulletBlazerSS. I attain with trolling motor. Without 4-5 mph more. For more performance try a Performance Propeller Drag 4 prop. Bullets luv um! Good luck.

  • Welcome Onboard!!

  • @propman4 heyy mann sweet boat your nuts for running that fast though :P but other then the speed whats the boat like? i hear from alot of people that the deck isnt that bigg soo fishing isnt the greatest is that true?

  • @MercuryProTeam I'm the owner of this boat. It's deck is the same size as most bass boats. 2 can fish off of it with no problem. Bullet does make one model with a smaller deck. This is their standard 20XD. 91" beam. Great fishing boat, but also great boat to play in if the fish are not biting. Handles rough water better than you could believe. Extremely smooth ride. Most people that talk about them not taking rough water well, has not riden in one. Thanks!

  • what model troller do you run? I will be looking for a drag 4!

  • MotorGuide 70# 42" shaft. It's not as heavy as some trolling motors, but enough power for fishing. The 26" Drag 4

is the best all-around on Bullets.

  • can you attain 105+ with the troller on? wicked video... I have a 20xd with 2.5 260 and I'm looking for more performance. Cheers

  • This motor has over 300 hours on it. NO RING JOB !! NO REEDS !! and this motor is run very hard !!

  • I am looking at buying a Bullet and replacing my Triton bass boat. I was wondering what you are getting for top end speed. I;m sure it is fast. My dad had a hydrostream and I miss the speed.

  • Top end speed is around 107mph. But remember this is a RACING MOTOR!!

This boat with a regular 225 pro Max will run around 85-90

  • @c23suzuki Why would anyone with a brain get rid of a Triton, best damn boats on the water as far as comfort, fishability, performance, and space. Best damn boats ever made. Higher top speed does'nt help you catch fish!.

  • What in God's name are you talkin about? That's a good motor!

  • bad ass boat would have been a better video with out the music
