  • Based on your review of Makers Mark I decided to try it and I am pleased to say it is now my bourbon of choice.

I was a committed Jim Beam Black man but not any more.

    Thank you very much.

  • really interesting, and whats even more interesting for me are the different terms, like the "Distillers Beer" in Scotland and Englands its called the "wash"

  • i dont dislike jack daniels i love jim beam but makers mark takes the cake. verry good robust flavored whiskey

  • wow - check out that bottle at like 6:55!

  • That is called a slam dunk bottle. About 1 bottle in 50 is done this way. They very rarely get on the shelves of stores because collectors pay a premium for them.

  • You can do your own slam dunk when you take a tour. It isn't on the bottling line, but a wax dipping station at the newly refurbished gift shop. You buy a 375ml bottle, take it to the station, and you can dip it yourself. True, it's not the 750ml, but hey you can still do a slam dunk.

  • that was very enjoyable to watch, thanks alot. i've served a fair bit of makers mark @ work before and i know/knew abit about bourbons .ect. but this helped me alot. thanks, ill have more of a clue on what to say to curious customers from now on :P

  • That was awesome. I love Maker's Mark bourbon here in Australia, so it was great to see the distillery tour.
