This song features on the Big Country album "The Seer" which was released in 1986. And that was around the same time as Hounds of Love. So I would imagine that she has imported some of her ideas into the song :)

Lol, I thought Mary Steenburgen looked alot like her too. I only thought they looked similar in the 90s; both of them looked similar at that one point. I don't think they look as similar during other points in time.

I think the C.I.A. made sure to get some close-ups of her so they could find a look-alike. Have you seen the multi-part unedited NightFlight interview? Kate gets steaming mad, because the lady interviewing her is a first-class C-word. Kate even manages to subtily call the lady a "prat" and even flip her the bird.
