During the 1948 War of Indepedence there were cases of expulsions. However, the video should also not that a considerable portion of the Palestinian Arabs fled from fear. Additionally, the area called "Palestine" was under the British mandate who had already created two Arab states in Jordan and Iraq. When you compare the 'ethnic cleansing' of the Palestinians in comparison to most countries it is considerably lower.
